Vahn stood a little taller, unsure of how to respond. "I... I guess so?"
The demon chuckled darkly. "Then perhaps you should learn the rules of this place more quickly."
Before Vahn could ask what he meant, the demon suddenly snapped his fingers. In an instant, the lights flickered, and the store was plunged into darkness. The shelves began to shake as if an earthquake had struck, and from the shadows, a massive, growling figure emerged.
