The Primordial Beast let out a low growl, and the ground beneath Vahn's feet cracked. The store's cashier was still unmoved, scanning a bottle of cola as if the beast didn't exist.
Vahn was on edge, but he didn't back down. He had to learn, had to survive this place.
"I'm ready," Vahn said, more to himself than anyone else.
