Chapter 3 - ABSOLUTE REVENGE

Chapter 3: The Revelation

The air was thick with tension as Liam's gaze locked onto Dreck's, the promise of vengeance hanging between them like a challenge. Dreck's words hung in the air, a mixture of encouragement and warning. Liam felt a shiver run down his spine as he realized that Dreck was not just offering him information, but a path of revenge that would change him forever.

As Liam's determination solidified, Dreck leaned forward, his voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "You see, Liam, the organization is powerful, but they're not invincible. They have weaknesses, and with the right training and guidance, you can exploit those weaknesses and bring them down."

Liam's eyes lit up with interest, his mind racing with possibilities. He felt a sense of purpose wash over him, a sense that he was finally taking control of his destiny. "What kind of training?" he asked, his voice filled with anticipation.

Dreck's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with excitement. "The kind that will make you a force to be reckoned with, Liam. The kind that will make you a monster, just like me."

Liam's heart pounded with anticipation as he leaned forward, his eyes locked onto Dreck's. "I'm ready," he said, his voice firm and resolute. "I'm ready to do whatever it takes to avenge my parents."

Dreck's smile grew even wider, his eyes gleaming with approval. "I knew you'd be eager, Liam. But are you prepared for the consequences? Are you prepared to become something you're not sure you want to be?"

Liam hesitated, a flicker of uncertainty crossing his face. But then, his determination returned, his jaw setting in a firm line. "I'm prepared," he said, his voice steady. "I'm prepared to do whatever it takes."

Dreck's eyes seemed to glaze over as he began to recount the past, his voice taking on a faraway tone. "The organization that killed your parents is a shadowy group that operates in the darkest corners of the world. They're led by a charismatic figure who will stop at nothing to achieve their goals."

Liam's eyes narrowed, his anger and curiosity piqued. "What organization? What are you talking about, Uncle Dreck?"

Dreck's gaze snapped back into focus, his eyes locking onto Liam's. "The organization is known as 'The Syndicate.' They're a group of highly trained assassins and operatives who will do whatever it takes to further their agenda. Your parents were part of this organization, Liam. They were two of the most skilled assassins The Syndicate had."

Liam's mind reeled as he tried to process this information. "Why did they kill my parents? What did my parents have to do with them?"

Dreck's expression turned somber. "Your parents were part of a faction within The Syndicate that opposed the current leader's plans for world domination. They discovered that the leader, a man known only as 'The Archon,' was secretly developing a powerful technology that could wipe out entire governments and institutions. Your parents knew that if this technology fell into the wrong hands, it would spell disaster for the world."

Liam's eyes widened as he listened to Dreck's words. "What kind of technology?"

Dreck hesitated, as if unsure how much to reveal. "The technology is known as 'The Ignition weapon' It's a device that can harness the power of living beings to create an explosion of unprecedented proportions. The Syndicate planned to use this technology to wipe out key government installations and institutions, paving the way for a new world order with The Archon as the supreme ruler."

Liam's face twisted in anger. "And my parents opposed this plan?"

Dreck nodded. "Yes, they did. Your father, in particular, was vocal about his opposition to The Ignition. He was also an Archon, There were two leaders of syndicate. So after he learned about the other Archons scheme,he gathered a group of like-minded individuals within The Syndicate and planned to take down The Archon and his followers."

Liam's eyes locked onto Dreck's, his mind racing with questions. "What happened next?"

Dreck's expression turned grim. "The Syndicate and your father's faction went to war. It was a brutal conflict that lasted for years. But in the end, your father's faction emerged victorious. The Syndicate's base was destroyed, and the Ignition device was rendered useless."

Dreck paused, his eyes clouding over with memories. "After the war, your father designed a mask that could change the user's face completely. He gave these masks to the surviving members of his faction, including me, so we could start new lives and leave our past behind."

Liam's eyes widened as he realized the truth. "You mean my parents' faces were fake? They weren't who I thought they were?"

Dreck nodded. "Yes, Liam. Your parents were living under assumed identities. But they've been living quietly, trying to build a new life for themselves and for you."

Liam's mind reeled as he tried to process this revelation. He thought about all the times his parents had been mysterious, all the times they'd seemed distant. It all made sense now.But if he was so strong why would he die. Liams eyes filled with anger

Dreck's expression turned somber once again. "But The Syndicate has risen to power again, Liam. They've discovered the truth about the masks, and they're hunting us down. That's why...that's why your parents were killed, for them to kill him they must have completed the living ignition weapon, but your dad put up a good fight even after he didn't do anything like fighting or training his body for 13 years. Imagine the scene of your parents room,it was like a pool of blood.what could be any more good explanation about that, he really killed them and I believe they used the living ignition weapon to defeat him.

Liam's anger boiled over at the mention of his parents' death. He felt a deep sense of loss and betrayal, but he knew he had to keep moving forward. He had to make The Syndicate pay for what they'd done.

"I'll take care of it, Uncle Dreck," Liam said, his voice cold and determined. "I'll make them pay for what they did to my parents."

Dreck's eyes locked onto Liam's, a mix of sadness and determination in his gaze. "I know you will, Liam. I know you will
