Chapter 2: New Life

Ok Liam, we're here, this is my house, as you already know

From now on,This is your new home, okay?

Uncle Dreck said standing in front of his Bungalow Building and they entered inside the building

Liam's this is your new room, remember, this is your home

Dreck said as he showed Liam's his room

Go in and arrange your things I'll be downstairs preparing something for you, so once you're done, come downstairs to eat, okay?

Ok uncle dreck thanks for all you did

Liam said

It's nothing, just go in and arrange your things

Dreck said as he left

As Liam's was arranging his thing's in the room he came across something that made Liam's eyes welled up with tears as he gazed at the old photograph in his hands. The image of his parents, smiling and happy, brought back a flood of memories. He felt a lump form in his throat as he remembered the laughter, the adventures, and the warmth they had shared. The pain of their loss still felt like an open wound, and Liam's emotions overflowed as he struggled to cope.

Dreck's voice, gentle and soothing, broke the silence. "Hey, Liam, what's going on?" He approached Liam cautiously, not wanting to startle him.

Liam looked up, his eyes red-rimmed and tear-stained. "It's just...my parents they're gone, aren't they?," he whispered, his voice cracking. "I miss them so much."

Dreck's expression softened, and he sat down beside Liam on the bed. "I'm so sorry, Liam. Losing someone you love is never easy. It feels like a part of you is missing, and sometimes it seems like the pain will never subside."

Liam nodded, feeling a sense of understanding from Dreck's words. Dreck placed a comforting hand on Liam's shoulder, offering silent support.

"But here's the thing, Liam," Dreck continued. "You don't have to go through this alone. I'm here for you, and I'll support you every step of the way. We can face this together, okay?"

Liam looked up at Dreck, feeling a sense of gratitude toward him. Dreck's words were like a balm to his soul, soothing his pain and offering comfort.

As they sat there, Dreck helped Liam compose himself. "You know, sometimes talking about our loved ones can help us heal," Dreck said gently. "Would you like to tell me more about your parents?"

Liam nodded, and Dreck listened attentively as Liam shared stories about his parents. As they talked, Liam felt a weight lift off his shoulders. Dreck's listening ear and empathetic words helped him process his emotions.

After a while, Dreck stood up. "Hey, let's finish arranging your things, and then we'll head downstairs to eat. I'm sure you're starving."

Liam smiled slightly, feeling a sense of normalcy return. Together, they arranged Liam's belongings, chatting and laughing softly. The tension in the room dissipated, replaced by a sense of camaraderie.

As they finished up, Dreck clapped Liam on the back. "Ready to grab some food? I've got some stuff cooking in the kitchen."

Liam chuckled, feeling a sense of excitement. "Yeah, I'm ready."

Together, they headed downstairs, the aroma of food wafting up to greet them. Liam's stomach growled in anticipation as they entered the kitchen.

A week had passed since Liam arrived at Dreck's house, but the pain of losing his parents still lingered. Tears continued to fall, and the grief seemed unbearable. One day, Dreck's expression turned serious as he gazed at Liam, his eyes filled with a deep understanding. "Liam, I know who murdered your parents," he said, his voice low and measured.

Liam's eyes snapped up, interest piqued. He felt a surge of emotions: anger, sadness, and a deep-seated desire for justice. "Who was it?" he asked, his voice shaking with anticipation. Dreck's gaze locked onto Liam's, his expression unreadable.

"Not until you stop crying," he said firmly, his voice brooking no argument. Liam took a deep breath, wiping away his tears. He composed himself, his determination growing. "I'm fine now. Tell me."

Dreck nodded to himself, a small smile playing on his lips. "A promise is a promise. Guess I'll have to tell you." He paused, his eyes searching Liam's face. "You're still little, even if you know. You can't do anything about it."

Liam's expression darkened, his anger and frustration simmering just below the surface. "No, let's go to the police. They said I should bring whatever I know, so if you tell them, I'm sure they'll find my parents' killers and avenge them."

Dreck shook his head, his expression calm and collected. "We can't tell the cops, Liam. They won't do anything about it once they know it's the organization involved. They'll withdraw from the case, and we'll be left with nothing."

Liam's determination turned stubborn. "If you won't tell me, I'll go to them and tell them you know something. They'll listen to you, won't they?" Dreck's expression remained calm, but a hint of amusement danced in his eyes.

"If you tell them, it'll be pointless, Liam. Trust me, I know how these things work. The organization has too much power, and the police won't touch it. We need to take matters into our own hands."

Liam's eyes flashed back to a memory of his father's dying words: "Avenge us." He felt a surge of determination and anger. "I want to know who did it," he said, his voice cold and deadly. "And I want to make them pay."

Dreck's gaze narrowed, his eyes gleaming with a dark intensity. "I want you to avenge your parents with your own hands, Liam. I bet that's what your parents want. They wouldn't want you to rely on others for justice."

There were flash back from from his father dying words,Liam 'eyes filled with a cold intent, and a hint of bloodlust seeped into his gaze. Dreck watched him, a small smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, yeah, that's the look. But it

's not strong enough to even faze me, because I'm also a monster
