Ava tilted her head up to look at Liam, those big dewy eyes of hers sparkling. For someone as proud and cold as him to say something like that—it was seriously heart-melting.
How could she not like him? She'd been head over heels for him for a long time. If she had to say what she didn't like about him, it was probably that he had a bit of a temper. But this past year, he'd been surprisingly patient with her. She didn't like that ex-girlfriend who always seemed to be hanging around, either, but lately he'd been firmly on her side.
