Chapter 206 - Chapter 205: Cosmic Captain Peter

His strength was already greater than that of an average Spider-Man. While most Spider-Men had a lifting capacity of 20 tons, he had reached nearly 40 tons. And at this moment, under the amplification of the mysterious power, he felt as if his strength had soared to the level of shattering stars with a single punch!

With the universe on the brink of destruction and his own willpower pushing him forward, the mysterious power had amplified him to the extreme—by 7,500 times—raising his strength to an astonishing 300,000 tons!

His speed had also reached its peak under the influence of this mysterious force, allowing him to unleash hundreds, even thousands, of punches in an instant.

Taking an average estimate—assuming he could throw 500 punches per second, with an arm length of 0.75 meters, his punching speed would be 750 m/s, surpassing twice the speed of sound.

Using the kinetic energy formula: Ek = mv²/2

If we assume his punching speed is:

The energy contained in a single punch at this moment would be:

300,000,000 × 750 × 750 ÷ 2 = 84.375 × 10¹² joules ≈ 8.4 × 10¹³ joules.

Historically, the atomic bomb that turned a certain island into a well-known tragedy had an energy release equivalent to 20,000 tons of TNT, which was also approximately 8.4 × 10¹³ joules.

In other words, Peter's full-force punch at this moment was equivalent to a 20-kiloton nuclear explosion.

However, while a nuclear explosion causes widespread devastation, his punch was concentrated into a single point of impact.

In terms of single-target destruction, his punch was undoubtedly far more devastating.

Not only that, but he felt his stamina instantly restored to its peak, and even with multiple tasks at hand, he felt no strain whatsoever.

An endless surge of power flooded through him, filling him with unshakable confidence.

His speed suddenly increased as he rushed toward Kahn.

Kahn was momentarily stunned.

Previously, Peter and the British Spider-Man had mostly avoided close combat with him, preferring to attack from a distance using magic. He was always the one forcing the fight into close range.

So why was Peter suddenly charging in now?!

Boom!

At that moment, Peter threw a punch, and with his sudden surge in power, he sent Kahn crashing downward from midair.

Kahn's body plummeted like a meteor, slamming into the ground with immense force. The earth instantly cracked apart, leaving behind a massive fissure, and his figure was barely visible in the distance.

"He's yours—hold him down!" Peter shouted to the British Spider-Man.

The British Spider-Man didn't respond, but his body had already begun to descend, his entire form enveloped in magical energy.

A few more attacks, and perhaps Kahn could be finished for good.

But Peter had something else to do.

He had to save Cosmic Captain Spider-Man from Solus!

No—he was no longer the Cosmic Captain anymore.

But Peter could not stand by and watch him die at Solus' hands.

As Peter shot upward at high speed, he used his mental powers to scan the entire world.

It didn't take long for him to find his target.

However, when he saw the scene before him, he was frozen in place.

Solus was nowhere to be seen.

Instead, in the outer layers of Earth's atmosphere, he saw a body drifting silently in space, its entire form covered in a thin layer of frost from the extreme cold of the void. There was no sign of life left in him.

Despite only wearing an ordinary red-and-blue Spider suit, Peter recognized him instantly.

It was Earth-13's Spider-Man.

The one who was once the Cosmic Captain Spider-Man.

But… he was dead.

Without the power of the Cosmic Captain, even a Spider-Man's body was not enough to survive in space.

He may have suffocated to death, or perhaps he had frozen to death.

Peter's heart was struck with immense sorrow.

With a wave of his hand, he opened a portal, enveloping the fallen hero's body.

"You will always be the Cosmic Captain Spider-Man. The mission you left unfinished—I will complete it for you!"

With a single thought, Peter located this universe's Spider-Man's home in Queens, teleporting the lifeless body onto his small bed.

"Everyone, leave this world!"

A series of portals sealed shut completely after transporting the last group of people and Spider-Men away.

Meanwhile, Bide arrived at a location in New York City. "Doctor Strange, I need your help."

He knew that everyone else would leave, but as the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange had no choice but to stay.

After all, protecting the multiversal reality was one of the Sorcerer Supreme's duties—his most important duty.

As expected, spatial fluctuations rippled through the air, and Doctor Strange emerged from them.

This was the Doctor Strange from Earth-13.

He looked at Bide with a hint of irritation. "The war among you Spider-People has led to the destruction of an entire universe. Are you trying to bring this to the Living Tribunal's attention?"

"So, you're just standing here watching?" Bide shook his head in disappointment. "Compared to the Doctor Strange I know, you're far too lacking." He turned around, making a move to leave.

"Wait." The Doctor Strange from Earth-13 caught up to him. "What do you need me to do?"

"I need the Book of Vishanti!"

Earth-13's Doctor Strange frowned and stopped in his tracks. "That's impossible. I can't let you see it."

The Book of Vishanti was a magical tome originally created by Vishanti, later passed down and enriched by generations of great sorcerers. It contained the most powerful white magic and defensive spells in existence.

Possessing the Book of Vishanti was akin to holding the key to becoming the Sorcerer Supreme.

In the past, it had been safeguarded by the Ancient One, but now, it was in the hands of Doctor Strange.

However, Bide didn't seek the Book of Vishanti for its magic—he sought it for what it was.

It was an artifact.

And not just any artifact, but one of multiversal significance.

Perhaps it wasn't as powerful as the Great Web, but with the mysterious force now empowering him, Bide wasn't to be underestimated either.

With the Book of Vishanti's power, he might just be able to traverse countless parallel universes and challenge the Master Weaver!

Bide revealed his true intent.

Doctor Strange from Earth-13 remained silent for a moment. He looked up at the sky once more before finally nodding.

"I understand. Come with me."

As they spoke, the massive rift in the sky above Earth had expanded further—almost as wide as the planet's diameter.

Viewed from space, it would seem as if Earth itself had been cleaved in half.

But there was still time.

Bide followed Doctor Strange deep beneath the Sanctum Sanctorum. The scenery felt oddly familiar, resembling what he had seen in Extraordinary Universe-2.

However, while that Sanctum Sanctorum was located in the mountains, this one was within a city.

But the layout was strikingly similar.

Doctor Strange led Bide into a small underground chamber.

When the door opened, an expanse of chaotic space unfolded before them.

Countless floating fragments drifted in the void.

Bide leaped after Doctor Strange, landing on one of the fragments.

At its center was a stone pedestal, atop which lay a book in utter stillness.

At first glance, the book appeared unremarkable—easily overlooked. But upon closer inspection, it seemed to possess a gravitational pull, as if it could consume both body and soul.

Yet at the same time, it radiated like a star, exuding boundless light.

And in Bide's eyes, it was emanating limitless magical energy!
