The gray, now brown alien fell upon Estrella like an avalanche. His momentum added to the weight of the world, and pressed on Estrella. The latter, though weaker, wasn't about to let all the initiative leave her hand.
The wall of clearing frost collapsed upon itself to come back to the origin. It lost the transparency and intangible solidity it had been gaining, turning into a whitish liquid armor, covering even the long white hair, after it collapsed to the extreme before it sprang back.
It touched and hid the skin with open wounds looking pink, like there was no blood to make them look red, then sprang back to cover the area one foot around Estrella, like a pale aura. The air pushed on her by the alien's momentum turned still in that area, seemingly frozen, and that was the only advantage Estrella could fight for, faced with the foe stronger than her, and with an element more solid than hers.
