The Khanna Court – Reeva's Cabin | 7:03 PM
Reeva sat alone in her royal blue armchair, her legs crossed, tapping her red-bottom heel softly against the Persian carpet. Her black silk shirt tucked into a high-waisted maroon skirt hugged her figure perfectly. Her long wavy hair cascaded over one shoulder, and her kohl-rimmed eyes were unusually soft—she wasn't just waiting. She was excited.
In front of her was a thin leather folder with gold embossing. It read:
"The Toast of Royals – Proposal"
She glanced at the door every few seconds, checking her watch. When the knock finally came, her lips curved into a smirk.
At the Reception, The Khanna Court
Trisha, draped in a tailored navy-blue three-piece suit, her signature gold bracelet gleaming under the lights, walked in with her usual confident stride.
Trisha (to the receptionist):
"Hey, I'm here to meet Reeva. Is she available?"
Akshita (recognizing her instantly):
"Ma'am, please have a seat, I'll just confirm—"
Trisha (smiling slightly):
"Just tell her Trisha Singhania is here to meet."
Akshita (a bit flustered):
"Oh, Trisha Ma'am! Please go right ahead. She's waiting for you."
Trisha (chuckling):
"Great. Thank you."
She walked down the hallway lined with curated royal portraits and stepped up to the one door without glass—the only one not meant for prying eyes or stray ears. She knocked once before entering.
Inside Reeva's Cabin – 7:05 PM
Reeva (grinning):
"Hey, Crown Winner. Welcome to the Khanna Queendom."
Trisha (raising an eyebrow):
"I've heard of kingdoms... but Queendom? That's a first."
Reeva (with a half-smirk):
"Kingdoms are ruled by kings. I'm a queen, so this is my queendom."
Trisha (stepping in, closing the door):
"Touché. Also, you showed up at Royale unannounced. I was in a board meeting. If you'd told me beforehand, I'd have made time."
Reeva:
"I tried. I called."
Trisha (sitting down):
"Unknown number."
Reeva (playful sarcasm):
"You don't have my number?"
Trisha (casual shrug):
"Now I do. You called."
Reeva:
"Funny. What would you like? Tea, coffee... or something strong?"
Trisha (with a slow grin):
"Whiskey. Neat."
Reeva (impressed):
"Of course."
She pressed a button on her intercom.
Reeva (to the bar):
"Send a bottle of our Glenfiddich 21, two glasses, and some ice on the side. Thanks."
Moments later, a suited staff member brought in the drinks. Reeva dismissed him politely and poured it herself, carefully.
She handed one glass to Trisha, keeping her own untouched for a moment.
Trisha (sipping):
"So... what's this important thing that brought Queen Khanna to The Royale?"
Reeva (sitting back, expression turning serious):
"I have an offer."
Trisha:
"I'm listening."
Reeva (tapping the folder in front of her):
"A 5-star restaurant. New venture. In Udaipur. Called... The Toast of Royals."
Trisha's brow lifted slightly, clearly intrigued.
Reeva (leaning forward):
"Exclusively fine dining. Regal aesthetics. Modern twists. And yes... a 50-50 partnership."
Trisha took a long sip before replying.
Trisha:
"50-50... bold offer. Why me?"
Reeva:
"Because we both know this city respects two things—legacy and brilliance. You've got both. So do I. You have The Singhania Royale. I have The Khanna Court. We combine those legacies... and the result becomes unstoppable."
Trisha looked at her over the rim of her glass, analyzing—not the deal, but the woman behind it.
Trisha:
"You could've proposed this to anyone. But you came to me."
Reeva:
"I didn't want just anyone. I wanted you. Your name. Your power. Your class. Your madness."
Trisha chuckled, licking a drop of whiskey from her lower lip.
Trisha (smirking):
"You just called me mad?"
Reeva (raising her glass finally):
"In the most complimenting way."
They clinked glasses, a soft chime echoing in the soundproof room—two empires beginning to align.
Trisha:
"I'll read the proposal. But I'll say this—if I come in, I don't play soft."
Reeva (locking eyes):
"Neither do I."
And in that charged silence, something flickered—not just partnership, not just power. But potential.
For chaos. For brilliance. For something they both didn't see coming yet.
