Chapter 4 - Chapter Four – Trapped in the Unknown

When their eyes opened inside the bunker, everyone realized they were tied up. A man in a lab coat walked in and introduced himself as Doctor D. He smiled wickedly and said, "Welcome to the world I've created. Here, only my rules matter."

One of the students, struggling against his restraints, asked, "Why have you brought us here? What do you want from us?"

Doctor D calmly replied, "I don't want anything from you... I just want to conduct a few tests on you."

Another student shouted, "What kind of tests?"

Doctor D smirked, "Experiments. On your bodies. That's all."

The students began to panic. The teachers, visibly shaken, asked, "What kind of experiments are you planning?"

He responded coldly, "Relax. We only experiment on teenagers. You adults... you're of no use to us. You'll be eliminated. But first, we need your students."

Saying that, he turned and left, leaving the room in stunned silence. His team—trained in armed combat—stayed behind, heavily armed. Moments later, they dragged away two students. Everyone watched helplessly.

Ethan, trying to stay composed, said, "We have to get out of here before we become the next test subjects. We don't even know what kind of experiments they're doing."

He added, "Doctor D said he would return in ten days. That gives us ten days to plan an escape."

They began observing the guards' movements and routines closely, hoping to find a pattern. Each day, they gathered what little information they could.

Meanwhile…

Back in the city, two days had passed since the students and teachers went missing. The college administration finally alerted the police, who launched an investigation. But by the end of the second day, there was no sign of the five large buses or any of the 200 students and faculty.

Fearing another mass abduction like the one a few years ago where 50 students vanished without a trace, the government handed the case over to the FBI. This time, the stakes were higher, and the pressure intense.

Day Three in the Bunker

Inside the bunker, the students noticed something important: during meal times, Doctor D's team only untied the hands of the girls—because the doctor believed only healthy teenagers were fit for his experiments.

Anyone who showed signs of illness was eliminated immediately. Ethan reminded everyone, "We've already lost two of our friends. We can't afford more mistakes. Whatever we do, we do carefully."

Their first goal was clear: escape—and find their captured friends, if they were still alive.
