Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1 – THE SECT ALLIANCE CONFERENCE

The wind howled fiercely, shaking the trees until their branches clashed with a sharp clatter. Amidst the threatening storm stood a grand pavilion, its towering pillars reaching defiantly toward the sky. Inside, nine prominent figures of the Murim world gathered in a tense atmosphere.

"What did you say?! The Demon Fire Sect is stirring up trouble again?! Daeng County is under siege?!" bellowed Mu Whon, leader of the Sky Sword Sect, his face dark and voice thundering.

"Yes," replied Chen Tiamo, head of the Ten Thousand Swords Sect. "Rumor has it, the entire Snow Dance Sect has been wiped out by them."

Silence fell over the room. Then, Lu Zhou of the Thunder Wind Sect spoke calmly but gravely, "We all know that sects are divided into four levels—lower, middle, upper, and central. The Snow Dance Sect was a mid-tier sect, not to be underestimated. For them to be annihilated, the attackers must have been powerful warriors from the Demon Fire Sect."

Mo Tian, Master of the Tianyin Holy Pavilion, added, "The Demon Fire Sect structures its ranks into five levels: soldier, head, general, emperor, and heaven. It's impossible that the Heaven-level warriors were involved—they serve directly under the Heavenly Demon, and there are only six of them in the world."

"Indeed," said Da Zhong of the Water Star Sect. "But even a single General-ranked fighter could flatten a small town. Wiping out a mid-tier sect like Snow Dance would be child's play for them."

"Then, what action should we take?" asked Cheon Ji, leader of the Celestial Moon Sect and Supreme Leader of the Sky Sect Alliance.

Pen Aiyu of the Rolling Tiger Sect spoke up, "For now, how about we send Du Chen? He is a genius disciple of my sect. His strength and speed rival those of a Head-level fighter from the Demon Fire Sect."

"I agree," added So Lin He of the Flower Mountain Sect. "I'll send Hyeon Li to accompany him. He's quite reliable in battle."

"That's a solid idea," said Kim Jheon Mo, Master of the Azure Hawk. "What say you, Leader?"

After a long meeting filled with heated debate, an agreement was finally reached. The sect leaders exchanged glances, each silently confirming that this decision was the best course of action to preserve peace and strength in the Murim world.

"Very well, proceed at once," said Cheon Ji firmly.

"Understood, Leader," they replied in unison, agreeing with the decision.

Without hesitation, they dispatched two of their finest young warriors to investigate the events in Daeng County—Du Chen, the prodigious disciple of the Rolling Tiger Sect, known for his exceptional combat prowess; and Hyeon Li, a young warrior from the Flower Mountain Sect, famed for his agility and sharp instincts.

Swiftly, the two prepared for departure. In their hearts, a mix of unease and deep responsibility stirred. The city of Daeng, shrouded in the terror of the Demon Fire Sect, now awaited them as a battleground of unknown dangers.

These two warriors stepped forward toward their destiny, unaware that the path ahead would lead them into a conflict far greater than they could ever imagine.
