Ruolan slid to the floor.She still could not believe that she was actually married.She somehow sensed the sincerity in her boss's tone and the look on his face.Moreover,Zhehan had showed her the marriage certificates.Therefore she couldn't deny any further.Zhehan watched his wife's face.He could see all the changes on her face from disbelief to acceptance.He still could not come to terms with her memory loss.He tried to get closer to her but she was still terrified of him so she refused the touch. Zhehan could feel how terrified Ruolan was.He was hurt and a thought flashed through his mind.Ruolan was this scared of him from before.He just realized that he needed to be gentle with her this time around. For a second he was glad she did not remember how harsh he was back then.He resolved to treat her better this time around.It was like he was being given a second chance.He was low key happy about it.He thought for a while and stood up and left.Ruolan saw him leave and thought that he was gone so she had was all alone again.She somehow felt a sense of loss somewhere in her heart.She went to the bathroom and looked at her face in the mirror.Her eyes were red from the crying and her face was pale probably from the shock.She took a quick shower.She dressed casually and went out .She bumped on something and almost lost her balance but a pair of strong hands held her on her waist.She looked up and was lost in Zhehan's eyes.She thought he had left.Turns out he went to get supper for them
."Ummmm,careful don't fall honey!"she froze.Did he just call me honey?she was shocked.Somehow something did not feel right so she asked casually,"Did you use to call me that before?"
He smiled and said seriously,"yeah,yes I used to do that."After you left that is.But Zhehan never finished his statement."Let's eat,I brought your favorites."He said.His hand never leaving her waist,he sat her on the bed and unpacked the food.As the smell filled the air Ruolan suddenly felt very hungry .She checked the dish and it was really her favorite mushroom with noodles.She picked it up and started eating.Ruolan had forgotten somebody was there.When he took the tissue to wipe Ruolan's mouth which was a little stained,she suddenly recalled that she was with her husband.
She was still not used to having anyone else that close to her so she looked at him in an awkward manner but she saw satisfaction and compassion in his eyes.Seems that he did love her huh!She felt her heart fill with an undescribable emotion.she somehow felt warm and terrified at the same time.She had a feeling that this was knew."Did we used to be like this?I mean were we this close?"She asked.
