Chapter 3 - In the booth

One day, Rachel was passing by the studio when she got a glimpse of Landon making a beat for himself. The beat he was making was that of Benny Blanco's biggest hit "East side". Of course no one but Landon knew this because the song or beat haven't been made yet in this timeline. In the eyes of Rachel, Landon was a music genius who finally started embracing his talent. Rachel's eyes widened in amazement as she watched Landon work on the beat.

Ever since she found out that he wrote and produced the "Rebirth " song, she knew she hit a gold mine and when Landon specifically requested to be the writer and producer of his own work she effortlessly agreed to it. She knew he was talented and if she didn'tagree to it than she would lose that talent to another person. But little did she think he was this talented, this was on a whole different level of talent for someone who was only about to turn 20 later that year. The way he effortlessly crafted the melody, the rhythm, and the harmony was like magic.

As she observed, Rachel couldn't help but think about the potential of this young artist. She had seen many talented musicians come and go, but there was something special about Landon. His passion, his creativity, and his dedication to his craft were all qualities that set him apart. Rachel decided to sneak away without interrupting Landon, not wanting to break the spell. She couldn't wait to talk to him about what she had just witnessed. She knew that this could be the start of something big, something that could take Landon's career to new heights.

As she walked away from the studio, Rachel's mind was racing with possibilities. She had a feeling that Landon was on the verge of creating something incredible, something that would make waves in the music industry. And she was determined to be a part of it, to help him unlock his full potential and share his genius with the world.

As Landon finished crafting the beat, he seamlessly transitioned into writing lyrics, his fingers flying across the keyboard as he poured his thoughts and emotions into the song. He was live on Instagram, sharing his creative process with his followers, and they were loving every minute of it. The comments started rolling in, with fans praising Landon's talent and creativity. "Wow, this is going to be a hit!" one fan wrote. "You're a genius, Landon!" another fan chimed in.

Landon smiled, feeling grateful for the support of his fans. He continued to work on the lyrics or he at least acted like he was tweaking and refining them until he was satisfied. As he worked, he shared snippets of the song, giving his followers a glimpse into his creative process. The lyrics began to take shape, and Landon's followers were blown away by the depth and emotion of the words. "This is so raw and honest," one fan wrote. "You're speaking straight to my soul," another fan added.

As Landon finished the song, he shared a final snippet, and his followers went wild. "This is it, this is the one!" one fan screamed. "You're going to change the game, Landon!" another fan wrote. Landon smiled, feeling proud of what he had created. He knew that this song was special, and he couldn't wait to share it with the world. And with the power of social media on his side, he knew that he could reach a wider audience than ever before.

Rachel, who was also watching the live was impressed by Landon's ability to connect with his fans and build a buzz around his music. She knew that she had made the right decision in signing him, and she was excited to see where his career would go from here.

Landon looked directly at the camera, a spark of creativity ignited in his eyes. "You know, I think this song could use a female singer's touch. Any of you guys have someone in mind?" he asked, engaging with his fans. The comments started pouring in, with fans suggesting various artists. "Ariana Grande would be perfect!" one fan wrote. "Selena Gomez would kill it!" another fan chimed in.

Landon smiled, entertained by the suggestions. "Maybe one day I'll get to work with them," he said, his eyes lighting up with excitement. "That would be a dream come true." The fans went wild, speculating about potential collaborations and imagining what it would be like to hear Landon's song with a female twist. Landon chuckled, enjoying the interaction with his fans.

As the live stream came to an end, Landon thanked his fans for their input and enthusiasm. "You guys are the best," he said, smiling. "I'll keep you posted on what's next."

Rachel, still watching the live stream, was impressed by Landon's ability to engage with his fans and build a buzz around his music. She knew that this was just the beginning of an exciting journey for Landon, and she was eager to see where his career would take him.

A couple of minutes later, Rachel made her way to the studio and found Landon on his way out. "Landon. You know, I've never seen a artist market their song that way." She said. "How on earth did you come up with the idea?" She asked with a passionate smile on her face.

Landon responded with a warm smile and said "I just thought that I need all the momentum on my side right now. Oh, and I got a favor to ask. Do you think you can get Selena gomez to rerecord the first verse and the fist hook leading to my verse in her voice?"

"Why Selena?" Asked Rachel. "You know, she's currently going through a lot of drama with her relationship so I dint think she'll agree to it." She added

Landon let out a small smirk. "And that's exactly why we should get her. The song is talking about young love not working out, so if I could get her on board with the song. Her whole Fandom along with Justin's will think her part of the song is about him."

"And that itself would be a good way to market the song. " she responded almost instantly. "Okay, I see the vision. But I won't grantee that her label will let her walk on a small artists song like that. But I'll try by all means to get her on the song". Said Rachel.
