Chapter 1 - Reborn

So, you know how after getting hit by Track-kun it usually means you get reincarnation to another world? You wake up OP AF, gain a harem or end up a slim ruling the whole universe? Yeah, that wasn't it for me. I was hit by Track-kun, but I was sent back in time to 2015, not only was I younger, and had some muscles here and there. Buh, I woke up as Landon Asher. A fomer member of the boy band "Midnight fusion".

Even though Landon was viewd as the handsome little brother of the group, he suffered from inferiority within the group. He would often only have a few lines in the songs, never seen as the lead singer on any songs on their two Eps. In short, he was more of a mascot than a member of the group. Now that Midnight fusion got a record deal. All four members voted Landon out of the group. Noah, the groups lead singer and leader said, "You can't be riding on our success forever, childhood friend or not. I'm sorry, Landon. This is were we part ways."

Even though Landon faked a smile, he committed suicide by overdosing with pills the other day, which led me to the possession of his body. Honestly, looking through Landons memories, I can see that this kid had more talent than the rest of the members of the group, but just because he suffered from abuse as a kid, he lost his voice and just did what everyone said he should.

"Don't worry kid, I'm gonna get back at them for you."

[Quest updated :revenge of the predecessor activated]

"Wait....who said that?" Asked Landon with a confused look across his face.

[I did. Although I don't have a name, I'd I'm system x26799A27. It's an pleasure to meet you.]

"Yeah, hey. What can I help you with? " he said nervously.

[I've been tasked with assignment of enhancing your talent. You're to choose one of the three boxes next to you. In each box you'll find three templates. Each have talents that are either better or worse than the others. From talents such as song writing, producing, rapping, composing and so on.]

"Wait..I don't see any b-" Before Landon finished his words, three boxes appeared infront of him. "Oh, never mind....well then,I'll go with....this one" he Said, as he picked the box on the right.

[Now opening box.....congratulations you have won the songwriting ability of Starrah and the producing ability of Benny Blanco. Now merging talents with the host. ]

After 10 minutes

[Merging complete]

"I don't really feel any different from the way I did before. But, thank you. I guess."

[Well, you won't feel the difference right away. But, you will soon see it. It's been a pleasure working with you, host. ]

"Wait, why do you sound like you're saying goodbye?"

[Well, I am done with my task. I'm not the type of system who stays and watches over you. Goodbye]

Landon's eyes widened as he watched the system disappear, leaving him feeling both relieved and anxious. He looked down at his hands, wondering if he really had been given the talents of Starrah and Benny Blanco. Would he be able to make a difference in the music industry with these new abilities? As he stood up, Landon noticed a piece of paper and a pen on the desk. He picked up the pen and started writing down lyrics, feeling an unusual flow of creativity. The words poured out effortlessly, and he found himself crafting a song that was both personal and universal.

The emotions he had bottled up during his time in Midnight Fusion began to surface, and he wrote about the pain of being overlooked and undervalued. But he also wrote about hope and determination, about rising above the circumstances that had held him back.

When he finished writing, Landon felt exhausted but exhilarated. He had never felt so alive, so connected to his music. He looked at the lyrics and knew that this song was going to be special.

With newfound confidence, Landon decided to start working on producing a track. He closed his eyes, letting the melodies and rhythms flow through his mind. He hummed a tune, and then started tapping out the beat on his desk.

As he worked, Landon felt the presence of Benny Blanco's producing ability guiding him. The sounds and textures blended together seamlessly, creating a track that was both catchy and emotive. After a few hours of work, Landon had created a song that he was proud of. He titled it "Rebirth," reflecting his own journey and the sense of renewal he felt with his new talents.

With his song in hand, Landon knew it was time to take action. He would prove to Noah and the others that he was more than just a mascot, that he had talent and potential. And he would do it without holding back, without fear of rejection or failure.

The question was, where should he start? Should he reach out to other artists, or try to make a name for himself as a solo act? Landon took a deep breath, knowing that this was just the beginning of his journey. He smiled to himself, feeling a sense of purpose and determination. He was ready to take on the music industry, and he was going to make his mark.

With that thought, Landon started typing out a message to an old friend who had always believed in him. He would start by sharing his new song, and see where it would take him.

Landon's fingers flew across the keyboard as he typed out the message to his old friend, Alex. He had met Alex in music school, and they had bonded over their shared passion for songwriting. Alex had always been supportive of Landon's music, and Landon knew he would give him an honest opinion.

"Hey Alex, it's been a while," Landon typed. "I've been working on a new song, and I wanted to share it with you. It's called 'Rebirth,' and it's about finding my voice and standing up for myself. I think it's something special, but I'd love to hear your thoughts."

Landon attached the song file to the message and hesitated for a moment before hitting send. He felt a mix of emotions: excitement, nervousness, and anticipation. What would Alex think of his song? Would he like it? Would he think it was any good?

As he waited for Alex's response, Landon decided to do some more work on his song. He wanted to perfect it, make it shine. He started tweaking the lyrics, making sure the message was clear and the melody was catchy.

A few hours passed, and Landon's phone buzzed with an incoming message from Alex. Landon's heart skipped a beat as he opened the message.

"Dude, this song is amazing!" Alex wrote. "The lyrics are raw and emotional, and the production is top-notch. You're a real songwriter now, Landon! What's inspired you to create something so powerful?"

Landon smiled, feeling a sense of validation and pride. He had done it. He had created something special, something that resonated with others.

"Thanks, man," Landon replied. "I've just been feeling really passionate about music lately. I want to make a name for myself in the industry, and I think this song is just the start."

Alex responded with a message that made Landon's heart race. "I think I can help you with that. I know someone who works at a record label, and I can get you an introduction. Would you be interested?"

Landon's eyes widened as he read the message. This was it. This was his chance. He typed out a response, his fingers shaking with excitement.

"Yes, I'm interested. Let's do it."
