Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 I Am A Priestess?

Just at this moment—

"Keya!" A woman's panicked cry rang out from the crowd.

Due to the arrival of adventurer teams, a sea of onlookers had gathered on both sides of the street. Amid the pushing and shoving, a little boy—no older than five or six—was squeezed out and stumbled forward.

In a heartbeat, he ended up directly in front of the adventurer team Four Armaments.

The boy lost his balance and fell, scraping his arm. Blood began to well up from the broken skin.

"Waaah… Waaah!!"

Tears poured down his cheeks, both from pain and the fear of being separated from his mother.

Then something unexpected happened.

At the front of the group, Scama Elbero, her black-dyed hair stark against her grim expression, suddenly brightened.

This is it—a perfect opportunity.

For adventurers, raising a team's popularity was crucial. A public display of goodwill could bolster their reputation.

"Lilynette..." Scama turned her head to address the pink-haired woman in their ranks, maintaining her usual stoic calm.

But before she could say anything—

Lilynette had already stepped forward with brisk determination. Her white clergy robe parted at the sides as she strode ahead, revealing white thighs enclosed in large-grid fishnet stockings.

There were audible gulps from the crowd.

"Little brother, it's alright. Onee-san will help you."

Lilynette squatted with a soft smile, extending her palm toward the boy's wound.

"Minor Injury Treatment!"

A gentle white light glowed in her hand, covering the scrape. In the blink of an eye, the wound closed up completely.

Feeling the pain vanish, the boy's cries trailed off. Tear-streaked cheeks flushed, he looked up timidly at Lilynette's smiling face.

"T-Thank you, onee-san…"

But midway through the words, his body flinched instinctively.

He didn't know why.

The smile on her face felt warm, but something about it... was terrifying.

Clink. Clank.

The soft sounds of armor shifting rang out as Scama, fully armored, stepped forward and crouched beside them. To the watching crowd, it looked like she was checking the boy's injury.

But in truth—

Scama muttered through clenched teeth, "Wipe that predatory look off your face, you pervert. I don't want our party getting labeled shotacons right after gaining some popularity."

At her side, Lilynette licked the crystal-clear saliva trailing from the corner of her mouth. She muttered with clear disappointment, "Unripe fruit… always tastes the best."

The boy shivered again. He couldn't understand their words, but their presence felt more unsettling than comforting.

A few paces away, the other two male members of Four Armaments exchanged looks—and sighed.

From the crowd, a middle-aged woman burst through with panic on her face. She rushed to her son, relief overtaking her expression once she saw he was unharmed.

"Thank you, thank you so much!"

She bowed repeatedly in gratitude.

Adventurers might not have the best standing among nobles, but to the common folk, they were highly respected.

Scama and Lilynette both stood, returning to their usual composed expressions and waving modestly as if to say, "It was nothing."

But Minori's attention was no longer on the scene.

When Lilynette had cast her spell, his status window had reacted.

Skill "Minor Injury Treatment (Level 1)" detected. Requires: Basic Class: Priestess or Priest. Available from levels 1–7. Current requirements not met...

"Genius" profession effect activated. Requirements bypassed. Skill eligible for acquisition. Consume 1 skill point to learn?

Priestess?

Minori blinked, momentarily stunned, before his eyes sharpened with interest.

He'd seen enough.

Turning away from the gathered crowd, Minori moved quickly, seeking a quiet spot to process what had just happened.

The sun beat down from overhead—it was midday. Judging from previous conversations and environmental clues, it was likely around May. Yet the heat felt more like June or July from his previous life.

The Great Tomb of Nazarick would descend into this world in mid-July—four years from now.

Not much time at all.

But that made it even more important not to rush.

He reached the edge of a shaded grove near the arena grounds, an area tucked between the royal capital's outer district and the arena, where greenery still thrived. It served as a natural divide between the densely packed commoners' quarters and the lower hill of the city.

Minori sat beneath the tree and called forth his attribute panel.

Because he had acquired Minor Injury Treatment, the Genius class had now added the Priestess/Priest profession options.

But what truly caught Minori's attention—Priestess.

A female-only class.

Yet he, as a male, had just gained access through Genius.

That was huge.

It opened the door to possibilities beyond conventional limitations—access to female-exclusive jobs.

And some of those could lead to special classes.

Classes like—

[Eclipse], belonging to Ainz—the culmination of undead specialization.

[Asura], used by Cocytus.

[Valkyrie], Shalltear's class.

[Apostle of Disaster], wielded by Mare.

[Origin of Evil], Demiurge's terrifying class.

[Martyr], unique to Victim.

Albedo's mysterious unnamed class that allowed multiple death transfers.

He even knew that Albedo, with the right item combo, could survive four deaths.

Of course, some classes were entirely out of reach.

[Eclipse] required a fully undead build and Level 95 across those paths. No way he could replicate Ainz's structure.

[Origin of Evil] was demon-exclusive.

[Martyr] was locked to the angelic race.

But...

[Asura], [Valkyrie], and [Apostle of Disaster]—those didn't seem to have race or gender restrictions as far as he knew.
