Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 - The New Earth

Kael opened his eyes to unfamiliar skies — pale green with drifting clouds that seemed too slow for wind. His breath returned, steady and new, in a body that felt young, powerful, and entirely different.

He stood on a rocky plateau, high above a valley of primitive villages. Straw roofs. Clay walls. Open-air markets filled with the trade of stone tools, pelts, berries, and handmade trinkets. People moved in simple patterns, yet there was a strange harmony in their rhythm — tribal, ancient, alive.

The year was 3473 B.C.

The place: a version of Earth, but not the one history remembered. This was a parallel timeline.

Behind him, hidden within a jagged hillside, rose the Base Comandos — invisible to ordinary eyes, inaccessible to the profane. Only the Immortals could pass through the dimensional veil protecting it.

Kael turned and stepped into the entrance.

The interior greeted him with paradox: a vintage style made of brass, stone, and dark leather, yet infused with seamless technology. Pipes lined the walls beside floating panels of light. Everything pulsed with quiet intelligence.

He explored the structure, floor by floor:

A living library, where books whispered and turned their own pages.

A language chamber, where Kael absorbed forgotten tongues through harmonic frequencies.

A combat room, complete with physical and holographic simulations.

A training hall, equipped for hand-to-hand, weaponry, and strategic drills.

A ferrum forge, where timeless weapons and tools were built from memory and code.

A dining lounge and bar, where time and taste blurred.

And at the highest level, a glass-ceiling pool, revealing the twin moons of this dimension.

Every floor was a puzzle. A gift. A preparation.

The base was both fortress and sanctuary. And it belonged only to those with a mission.

Soon, a voice echoed through the air. Not a loud one — just clear.

> "Kael. It's time."

He returned to the briefing room. A holographic map displayed shifting terrain — rivers, forests, energy lines.

A new command appeared in glowing letters:

> MISSION 001: OBSERVE. LEARN. INTERVENE ONLY IF NECESSARY.

Kael's eyes narrowed.

He wasn't just alive again.

He was at the center of something far greater.
