Yuma Hiroto stared at the calendar, a grin slowly spreading across his face. "Finally, 2008!" he whispered, trying to keep his excitement in check. It had been almost two years since he'd landed in this strange world, a world that wasn't his own.
He wasn't from here. Two years ago, he'd been a regular office worker back on Earth, living a normal life. Then, at the premiere of "Avengers: Endgame," something strange happened. As Iron Man snapped his fingers and said "I am Iron Man," Yuma found himself transported to a world he didn't recognize.
He'd been confused, scared even. But slowly, he'd come to understand that he was in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the year being 2006. He was now the owner of a grocery store in Flushing, Queens, and he'd brought something unexpected with him: a "Bleach" system.
This system had given him a Zanpakuto, a powerful sword, and a mission: to train and become stronger. He was confined to Flushing until 2008, forced to hone his skills and increase his spiritual pressure.
Now, two years later, he was finally ready to leave. He'd mastered his Zanpakuto, learned to use powerful spells, and was considered a qualified Shinigami. But he knew he needed more power, more strength, to truly thrive in this world.
"System, can I leave Queens tomorrow?" he asked, needing to hear it confirmed.
[Yes, you can leave after midnight.]
Excitement surged through him. He opened the system interface, his eyes scanning the [Mission Interface], the [Exchange Store], and the [Lottery Interface]. He had a lot of souls, but they were useless without anything to exchange them for. He sighed. He'd have to wait.
He looked out the window at the bright blue sky. His heart soared with the promise of adventure.
"Boss, I'm here again. Do you have anything fun today? Do you have anything cool like last time?"
A familiar voice interrupted his thoughts. It was Peter Parker, the future Spider-Man, his eyes wide with excitement.
"Of course I do. Why are you here today?" Yuma asked, a smile on his face.
"Peter was so bored at home, he kept pestering me to come," Ben Parker, Peter's uncle, said with a chuckle. "So I had to bring him to see you again."
"It's fine, Ben, I like little Parker," Yuma said, ruffling Peter's hair. "How about the toy I gave you last time? Is it useful?"
"It's very useful, it's so cool," Peter exclaimed, beaming. "Those bullies don't dare bully me anymore. I used the toy against them, and they were scared silly!"
"Later, they went to our teacher and classmates and said I was a monster. But no one believed them. They all thought they were crazy."
"The principal even arranged counseling for them, but it was useless. Now, as soon as they see me take out the toy, they run away in fear."
"Also, our class..."
"Okay, Peter," Yuma interrupted, laughing. "Do you want us to stand here at the door and chat forever?"
"Don't you want to eat Chinese food?"
Yuma smiled. Peter, even at seven, was already a chatterbox. He'd always thought it was because of his parents' death and the bullying he endured, but it seemed like it was just part of his personality.
"Ben, call May. We're having hot pot tonight, extra spicy!" Yuma announced, his heart filled with the anticipation of a new adventure.
