Chapter 1 - [1] System-Type: Pirate Crew Fruit

(Mental Archive)(Judging by the title, this is a power fantasy bulldozer-style story. If you're not into that, proceed with caution.)(Starting point: North Blue. North Blue. NORTH BLUE! Literally half a planet away from Marine Headquarters!)

....

"System, you damn turtle spawn, get the hell out here!"

May, Year 1520 of the Sea Circle Calendar.

North Blue. Kingdom of Kachinov.

At the harbor of a massive port city, a young man with short black hair, striking features, and a sharp gaze was cursing furiously at the sea.

His name was Sora.

He had just graduated and landed a coveted government position back in his home province—a civil service job. Life was looking good.

But on the very day he received the offer letter, he was kicked—literally—into the world of One Piece by that damned system.

Why "kicked"? Because as he was walking down the stairs, he suddenly felt a boot to the back, sending him tumbling down. When he got up, he was no longer on Earth.

He was now in the One Piece world. He could instantly speak the local language, and his body had reverted to a youthful, eighteen-year-old state.

He also gained a "Soul Link" talent—and a newbie starter pack.

That was definitely a system kick, no doubt about it.

He had just "come ashore" in life, full of ambition and pride, ready to enjoy success. And now? Boom. Horse down. Welcome to Pirate Hell.

"Seize that lowlife!"

"The Celestial Dragon will be arriving soon!"

"How dare he shout in public like that!"

"And drive out every other filthy commoner nearby!"

From a nearby luxury carriage, a beautiful noblewoman scowled at Sora. She turned to her guards and barked her orders.

The Celestial Dragon's visit had come without warning, and she had no time to prepare. Clearing the area was the only option.

"Yes, Princess Anna," the guard replied and ran off toward Sora.

Meanwhile, Princess Anna of the Kingdom of Kachinov began directing her attendants to prepare the harbor for the grand welcome.

Whoosh...

Unaware that trouble was brewing, Sora let out a long breath. The cursing had been cathartic.

He wasn't the type to complain about fate. The shouting was just to vent the crushing stress.

He was already here. What was done was done.

Since he was in the world of pirates now, he might as well enjoy the experience. A lawful world had order, sure—but chaos had its own charm.

And with his talents, even without a system, he'd survive just fine here.

But the system hadn't left him empty-handed.

『Beginner Gift Pack Opened:– Awakened: Basic Armament Haki– Awakened: Basic Observation Haki– Awakened: Basic Conqueror's Haki– Received: Elite Swordsman Trial Card ×1– Received: Devil Fruit ×1』

With a shimmer, a grape-shaped Devil Fruit and a rainbow-colored card appeared in his hands.

Knowledge of the three types of Haki surged into his brain.

"This card can be used three times? Thirty minutes per use."

"And this... this is a Devil Fruit?"

Sora pocketed the card and studied the fruit, curiosity gleaming in his eyes. Then, he picked a swirl-covered purple grape and popped it into his mouth.

Anything made by the system had to be high-grade.

And regardless of what kind it was, a Devil Fruit was still a ticket to power in this world.

As long as he could plant his feet firmly in the early stages, Sora believed he could flip the entire One Piece world upside down—and turn it into his personal playground.

Yes. His playground.

Licking up to the Straw Hats? Not a chance.

Let Nami, Robin, and Hancock worship him instead. That was the real king's path.

『Ding! Host has consumed System-Type: Crew-Crew Fruit (Pirate Crew Form).System binding initiated. Host gains the following powers:– Scout: View target details for recruitment.– Ship Control: Freely command any ship under your name.…』

"A system-type fruit? This actually exists?"

"No… this must be a special custom fruit made by the system."

Sora grinned as new data poured into his mind.

The System-Type: Crew-Crew Fruit was simple in function: establish a pirate crew, recruit special members, form bonds, and then—randomly gain one of their abilities permanently.

That could mean natural talents or even Devil Fruit powers.

What counts as a special crew member?Anyone with a unique ability, or anyone who appeared in the original story.

Even without a bond, each crew member would passively provide him experience points.

If he recruited someone with all three types of Haki, he'd gain steady experience just by existing.

He could literally grow stronger by doing nothing.

And when the crew hit certain milestones, the fruit could evolve—unlocking new features and immense power. Like Baron Tamago under Big Mom, his power would surge with every level-up.

『Current Pirate Crew Level: 1』『Level 1: Can recruit 3 Fighters, 1 Cook, 1 Lookout, 1 Navigator, 1 Doctor, and 2 General Crew Members — total: 9』

『Upon recruiting 9 crew members and reaching a total bounty of 100 million, the crew will level up to Tier 2. Additional roles and special rewards will unlock.』

Reading the system prompt, Sora squinted slightly. Then he looked at his unique talent: Soul Link.

『Soul Link – "Though we are apart, our hearts are as one."Effect: Massively increases charm and emotional resonance. Greatly enhances attraction to linked female targets. Major reductions to cost and cooldown.』

"…Why does this talent feel so damn shady?"

"You can use the phrase 'our hearts are as one' like this?!"

Staring at the system's explanation, Sora was stunned.

This fruit… this talent… was clearly pushing him down the road of multiple queens and a royal harem.

He loved it.

"Quick! Catch him!"

The shout snapped him out of his thoughts. Several armored guards were rushing toward him.

He hadn't done anything—but they were clearly here to arrest him.

Sora frowned. He was about to unleash his Armament and Observation Haki to make them regret it, but then—

One guard who looked like a squad leader approached quietly and whispered, "Don't resist. We'll release you in a bit."

"The Celestial Dragon is arriving. If you anger them, you'll die on the spot."

"So please, come with us."

The captain's eyes were calm but serious. He could tell Sora wasn't a normal civilian.

If it were up to him, he'd avoid conflict—but the princess had given orders. And he had a family to protect.

Sora looked him in the eye and saw genuine goodwill. After a moment of silence, he nodded.

He respected sincerity, no matter the motive.

Besides—he was curious to see what kind of morons the Celestial Dragons really were.

And so, Sora followed the guards to a small building by the dock to await the Celestial Dragon's arrival.

Inside, other commoners were already gathered—clearly brought here the same way.

Sora climbed to a window on the second floor and stood alone, watching.

Before long, a massive and extravagantly decorated ship appeared on the horizon.

The Celestial Dragon... had arrived.
