We finally arrived at Newest Home, and we were met with a giant crowd of people, as soon as I stepped out of the bus, I completely disappeared leaving Lyanna only a message about leaving.
I had some free time before the event started so I went around for a bit. Everyone was ecstatic for the arrival of Asriel. I kept wandering around and sightseeing the different monuments of the city.
Even though years passed since I arrived here some things still left me speechless. Earlier I bought a candy that made me literally glow. The experience was overall very enjoyable and fun.
While wandering, I caught a glimpse of the human royal family arriving to the city, around them prominent mages and warriors protected them of any incident. Just like that the city became even busier.
Even some human asked me if my horns were real (They started growing when I turned 13). While chilling on a bench I spotted a weird person just mumbling to himself and wearing a coat. Because I didn't have anything better to do at the moment I decided to stalk them. Who knows, maybe they'll even have clues on Gaster.
Some narrow halls later the weird man was reunited with 4 other people and they started talking.
"Are the preparations ready?".
"Yes brother, the priest will surely be happy".
"Remember, this is the only way to save yourself to your sins".
"Our God is absolute, after all". The guy I followed started to leave I took a look at him before heading out.
My pulse completely stopped as I saw a burned face with a black tattoo on the left eye. I quickly left unnoticed, and I ignored that weird guy.
That shit was actually creepy as fuck, now I know about some sort of cult and they're planning to do something today. There was only one way I could protect everyone from this unknown threat.
"So you're telling me a cult may be planning to do something today".
"Yep".
"Sorry punk, not buying that". Right now I'm a weak kid, how could I stop a cult? After finding out about them I immediately went to a capable adult to take care of the situation.
"There are a lot of guys in the royal guard, could you deploy one just to investigate, I tell you they look sketchy as hell". That capable adult was the captain of the royal guard, Undyne.
She and the royal guard were parading around the city to show off the protectors of monsterkind. I was able to talk to her among all the people because I looked similar to Asriel and she mistakenly thought I was him (I'm not him).
"Ok Asriel clone, remember you're indebted to me". That way I calmly solved a cult attack even before it happened.
"Also work out a bit you weakling". That lowered my morale a bit but still I thanked her.

The main event finally started and king Asgore started his speech. It was quite boring and I forgot it right after, I think it talked about hope and a new peace era? Something along those lines.
Then it was Asriel's turn and his speech was
When they ended yapping teenagers like me were allowed to take photos with Asriel. I hurriedly got in the queue but it was already enormous. Now I had to patiently wait in line just to take a photo.
While time passed I wondered if it was necessary to do this, but still, I had curiosity over Asriel's and Frisk's personalities. While waiting I kept a keen eye on my surroundings trying to catch any weird movements about those black coat guys. They certainly were some, but I saw some royal guardsmen walking to them. Undyne was really reliable.
Apparently I wasn't paying enough attention to the queue as I didn't notice someone just skipping it and tossing aside everyone.
"Move". As I heard her voice I felt a force tossing me aside like a ragdoll. Being took by surprise I firmly planted my stance and resisted the force.
"What's wrong with you?". I asked as I looked to the perpetrator. 'Telekinesis', I thought to myself while realizing that I was a bit moved by her magic.
When I finally realized who she was I understood everything. In front of me was a short cyan haired girl with the same cyan eyes. She was from a famous magic family and was a pretty known person. In short she was a rich brat with all the right to do whatever she wanted.
"Are you deaf? I told you to move". She again tried using telekinesis on me, but this time it was a bit stronger as I was pushed slightly more than before.
"We are in a queue, you should wait your turn as everybody here is doing". I told her some words of common sense and she seemed angered by my words.
"You don't know how hard it was to escape my bodyguards, just get out of my way". She lifted her hand to again use telekinesis on me but I stopped her. I could notice a crowd slowly forming around us.
"Haven't you thought of, 'asking' ". She looked around likely to know if her bodyguards were close.
"Could you let me pass?". I was bewildered and couldn't believe that she actually asked, but before I could change my opinion of her a rock flew at high speeds towards me. Luckily I was able to dodge it and it hit a random kid knocking them out.
"Are you just trying to kill me?". She had an annoyed expression as if telling me 'Scram or I'll beat you'. Also, around six more rocks were orbiting around her. She was willing to start a fight over a queue.
I decided to just let her pass, but I was a petty person after all, and I wouldn't forget something like that. Before the situation could be resolved Frisk arrived as if tried to mediate the situation.
"What's happening over there?". With short brown hair and half-closed brown eyes Frisk looked like bigger version of the game, her skin wasn't that yellow though. She was slightly smiled and wore really formal clothes as mosterkind's ambassador.
Caeli immediately forgot about her trying to murder me and went to Frisk's side.
"Frisk, I'm a huge fan, please let me take a quick photo with you". She started overwhelming Frisk like an obsessed fan and all she could do was comply. While they had their shenanigans, I noticed something really strange.
There were a lot more black coated men, I had a bad feeling about that as the look on the royal guardsmen was tense. Frisk noticing me dozing off talked to me.
"Hey! I thought about taking photo the three of us so you two make amends, what do you think?". My heart rate increased as I started to realize something was about to go wrong.
"Are you alright?". Frisk seemed worried about me as she looked at the same direction I was facing. Then, we saw it.

A little monster was kidnapped by a group of black coated guys. As we both started sprinting towards where the kidnapers went. When Caeli realized that Frisk was gone, she started following us and asking what was happening.
'F*ck'. I thought to myself as we got closer to them. But suddenly all the lights went out as everyone freaked out.
"Do not be afraid you little heretics! This is just our dear God ensuring his reincarnation".
As the voice finally stopped, a cynical laughter could be heard through the whole obscure city.
"Where they went!". Frisk asked me as she lost track of the kidnapers. Making a quick judgement I told her to follow me as I casted a fireball to guide our path.
It seemed that the world couldn't catch a break.
