Chopstick Sage Zhen posed heroically, noodles fluttering in the wind. "I am the Ninth Path Taster, the Eternal Gourmet, the Celestial Judge of Sizzling Realms!"
He twirled a massive chopstick staff. "You, boy—Wei Yun, trash disciple of destiny—you have been selected for the Grand Tournament of Eternal Flavor."
System chimed:

[Objective: Win. Or get turned into garnish.]
Wei Yun: "…Great. Another cosmic event I didn't sign up for."

Upon arrival, each member was assigned a cooking station that screamed when you overcooked rice.
Mu Yao's cauldron exploded three times before she stopped trying to punch the spirit fire into obedience.
Xu Liang's ladle tried to file a restraining order after tasting his first dish.
And Pan-Pan?
He summoned a demon from his soup.
It was delicious.
Chopstick Sage Zhen's voice boomed:
"Your mission: to master Five Culinary Combat Styles before the tournament begins! Each technique channels cooking into destruction!"
The scroll unfurled:

2. Rolling Flame Wok Kick
3. Blazing Broth Formation
4. Knife Qi Symphony Slash
5. Seasoning Overload Burst
Wei Yun blinked. "Those sound like martial arts... designed by a hungry drunk."

Mu Yao mastered "Rolling Flame Wok Kick" by punting fireballs like soccer balls—into Pan-Pan.
Pan-Pan evolved. He now used Fork Qi.
Each time someone failed, their cookware would insult their ancestors.
Crutchy the Spirit Chicken was tasked with being a sparring dummy. He charged ten spirit stones per insult.
After 6 days of nonstop torment, Sage Zhen clapped his hands.
"Enough! Your training is... passable. Now you must fight the guardians of this realm: the Broth Brotherhood!"

A gate of ramen opened. From it emerged five cloaked figures, each radiating terrifying soup energy.
First Brother: Ramen God Monk
Second Brother: Miso Blade Maiden
Third Brother: Bone Broth Butcher
Fourth Brother: Instant Noodle Necromancer
Fifth Brother: Broccoli.
Wei Yun pointed. "That's not a brother. That's a vegetable."
Broccoli stepped forward. "I identify as broth."
Sage Zhen: "Defeat them to earn entry into the Tournament of Eternal Flavor. Fail… and you shall be stir-fried eternally."
System notification:

Part 5: Battle with the Broth Brotherhood
First Fight: Wei Yun vs. Ramen God Monk
The monk slurped noodles while dodging attacks, muttering sutras in ramen language.

Second Fight: Mu Yao vs. Miso Blade Maiden
Mu Yao's fists clashed with miso-infused katana slashes. The fight ended when she suplexed the maiden into a curry volcano.
Third Fight: Xu Liang vs. Bone Broth Butcher
A horror. Utter soup carnage. They both cried while swinging ladles.
Fourth Fight: Pan-Pan vs. Instant Noodle Necromancer
The necromancer summoned undead noodles. Pan-Pan, fully evolved into Fork Saint Pan, devoured them.
Fifth Fight: Wei Yun & Crutchy vs. Broccoli
Wei Yun: "I can't believe we're fighting a vegetable."
Crutchy: "This is your fault."
Broccoli powered up, casting Photosynthesis Dao Beam.
Wei Yun and Crutchy combined their Qi into the ultimate move:
Soup Beam of Eternal Shame.
The broccoli exploded.
Pan-Pan cheered. "I'll make a salad."

Pan-Pan: "Finally. Someone who gets me."
Mu Yao cracked her knuckles. "Let's go punch food into glory."
Xu Liang: "Do I still get to cry in every chapter?"
Wei Yun: "Only if you season it with dignity."
They flew toward the tournament arena, fiery skies blazing, ladles drawn, spice levels maximum.
