Chapter 24 - Chapter-24 Revenge

Jay-jay's POV

Scanning...

...

Not Found.

Damn it! I can't find them. I went back to our room empty-handed.

So annoying! I've been looking for those Section D students who attacked me for days now.

Maybe those bastards sensed it. They won't show themselves to me. And here I was, all ready to get my revenge.

"Where have you been?" Keifer greeted me.

None of your business!

"Just around," I answered before sitting down.

Ever since I ended up in the clinic because Section D punched me in the stomach, he's been acting like my mom, always asking where I've been or where I'm going.

Maybe he feels guilty! After all, they left me alone back then.

"Next time, take Ci-N with you if you're going out," he added.

No way!

I'm not even one of them, and this is my fight, so it should be just me. I crossed my arms and leaned back. So frustrating! Plus, there's Freya's face blocking my view of the school every time I walk in.

Oh, so pretty! Pretty enough to be buried alive!

"Classmate... Don't you guys have any food there?" one of our classmates suddenly shouted.

I do!

But I'm not giving any. After ignoring me, leaving me behind, and telling me I don't belong? They can suffer!

Then suddenly, light bulb! 💡

I took out some chips from my bag, and I saw those idiots instantly turn to look at me. I opened it and started eating. We didn't have a class right now, so it was fine. Even without looking, I could feel their hunger for my food.

David suddenly moved to the seat beside me. He didn't say anything, but I knew he wanted some.

"Do you want some?" I asked sweetly, holding the bag out to him.

He didn't speak, but he took some. His face was so serious, but it was obvious he was starving.

Do they not eat at home?

Ci-N also moved to sit beside me. Now they were on either side of me.

"Jay... Give me some," Ci-N pouted. He looked so childish! Cute!

I gave him some too. Now there were three of us eating. And three of us getting deadly stares from our hungry classmates.

"Cut it out!" Yuri ordered angrily. "You guys know people here don't bring food, and yet you're doing this!"

I was about to protest, but then I heard his stomach growl. Loudly.

Hehehehe... Evil Laugh

I turned to him and shoved more food into my mouth. I could see how annoyed he was.

I even copied that enjoying-every-bite expression that Felix and Keifer made before. Just one more subject before lunch. But even when lunch break comes, they still won't be able to eat.

"Hhhmmmm... So good, right?" I asked David and Ci-N.

David just nodded, but Ci-N smiled and clapped.

"It's not that good, but it's enough to keep you from starving. Hahaha."

Should I not give this kid any more? He doesn't know how to play along.

"Yuri... Why don't you bring food anymore?" one of our classmates asked.

"Tss. Tanda caught me," Yuri answered.

Haha... So that's why.

Kkkrrrriiiiiiiiiinnnnnnggggggg!!!!

Lunchtime! Hahaha... It feels like a great time to mess with people.

"Are we eating at the usual hangout, Jay?" Ci-N asked.

I smiled at him. "No... We're eating here."

"H-ha? Are you sure?"

I nodded with a wide grin. It was obvious David didn't get what we were talking about.

I handed Ci-N his packed lunch but didn't let him move away. I also took out mine. I knew David didn't have any, so I decided to split mine with him.

"Let's share," I told David.

"S-sure," he answered shyly.

I glanced behind me and saw all of them staring hungrily. Some were even drooling like dogs. I gave David half of my lunch. Then I cleared my throat, preparing my voice.

As I took a bite— "Mmmmkkk!! So delicious!" I reacted like a little kid.

"Arrgghh... I want some too!"

"Why? Why does this have to happen to us?"

"Go eat outside!"

"Share, for the love of God!"

"No!"

Their reactions varied. I just continued eating. And even though I wanted to pity them, they were far from pitiful. Hahahaha.

Bad Jay!

"It's really delicious! Right? Right?" I asked the two who were busy eating.

David just nodded again, but Ci-N turned to me with a bright expression.

"It's bland, but it's okay."

I swear, I am never giving this kid food again. -_-

"AARGGHH!" One of our classmates suddenly screamed. He rushed towards us and suddenly knelt in front of me.

"I'm begging you! Give me some!" he pleaded while pulling on my sleeve.

"Oh no!"

Even more classmates came forward and knelt. This was intense!

Now I was starting to feel a little sorry for them, but I also had to get back at them for what they did to me before.

Sorry!

"There's none left... I finished it all," I said, showing them my empty lunchbox.

"You're so mean!" one of our classmates cried out, nearly in tears as they walked away from us.

All because of food... They've gone insane!

After eating, I suddenly felt nature's call. Just number one, I only needed to pee. I left my bag with Ci-N and went out of the room. I quickly went to the restroom, moving fast just in case Freya decided to barge in here again.

When I got back to the room... Section E was gone. And so was my bag from my seat.

Huh?! Where is it?!

I even checked under my desk, but it wasn't there. Where did it go?!

I thought of looking for Section E. Maybe they had something to do with my missing bag. It wasn't hard to find them since they were all gathered in front of the flagpole. Their right hands were placed over the left side of their chests.

Was there a flag ceremony today?

What the hell! It's Thursday! There's no flag ceremony!

I immediately looked up at the top of the flagpole.

My bag was swaying like a flag. These animals!

I stormed toward them.

"You lunatics! Get my bag down!" I ordered angrily.

"Tsk! Don't be rude. We're paying respects to the flag," one of our classmates replied.

Dumbass!

"Idiot! What flag?!"

They all turned to me at the same time and gestured for me to be quiet before going back to what they were doing.

Oh, son of a—!

I saw Ci-N saluting while looking up at my bag.

This one too?! He even joined in on their nonsense! I walked up to him and pinched him.

"Ouch..." she weakly complained.

"Why is my bag up there?"

"You made them mad. So they got back at you."

I was so frustrated I rubbed my face with my hands—without water. My classmates were seriously insane! They had lost it because of hunger!

Oh, come on!

They needed to bring it down because...

"The chocolate will melt!"

As soon as I said that, they all looked back and forth between me and my bag.

"Why didn't you say so earlier?" one of them asked regretfully.

Suddenly, chaos erupted. They scrambled to untie the rope on the flagpole to lower my bag.

"I'll do it!"

"No, me! I'll do it!"

"I said I'll do it!"

"Move aside!"

They were fighting over it like little kids. But they couldn't have it—it was mine!

"Ci... Don't wait for my bag to reach them—hey! Wait!"

I didn't even get to finish my whisper. Ci-N suddenly disappeared.

"Move! Move!" he shouted while squeezing through the crowd.

Great! Like he could actually get through.

When he realized he couldn't push past them, he took a few steps back and suddenly—wooaaahhh!

This kid is amazing!

He stepped on the people in front of hIM to climb up, then leaped to grab my descending bag.

Martial Arts!

"Jay! I got it!" he shouted as he ran toward me.

But instead of welcoming him, I ran away.

Section E was right behind him, and they were glaring at my bag like they were about to pounce.

Maybe I shouldn't have said there was chocolate inside...

"Hurry up, Ci!" I yelled while running.

"They're coming!" he shouted, running even faster than me.

We reached the school's big building. Other students were already staring at us.

"Hey! Give us some!"

"Come back here!"

"Share with us!"

They kept shouting while chasing after us.

We even ran into Sir Alvin. Other teachers also stopped and pressed themselves against the walls to let us pass.

"Section E! You're not allowed here!" one of the teachers yelled.

But no one paid attention because we kept running.

We made it to the second floor. The classrooms were already closed—classes were in session.

Right!

"Ci! Here!" I called out and ran into one of the rooms.

As soon as we got inside, I shut the door and listened carefully to check if they were close.

"Jay..." Ci-N called me while tugging on my sleeve.

I swatted his hand away and kept listening for those idiots.

"Jay..." he called again, but I ignored him.

"Where?"

"Upstairs!"

"Hurry up."

It sounded like they went up to the third floor.

"Jay..." Ci-N called again.

I was starting to get irritated. I turned to him with my brows furrowed, but that disappeared the moment I realized why he was calling me.

I wish we hadn't chosen this room to hide in.

I thought it was just some random class.

We're screwed!
