Chapter 64 - Chapter-59 recruitment building

After a long day of fighting, summoning thousands of soldiers and commoners, and establishing military units, Arthur felt the weight of exhaustion. It was already late, but before retiring to bed, he decided to check the global channel to stay informed about the developments in the world.

As he browsed through the messages, Arthur's eyes widened at the staggering number of lords who had already fallen - millions had lost their lives in the unforgiving world. Many lords with lower-rank talents were struggling to survive, clinging to the protection period for as long as possible. In contrast, those with higher-rank talents were making rapid progress, their advantages evident in their swift advancement.

"It's true that only the strong can survive," Arthur thought to himself, a mix of determination and resignation in his sigh. He couldn't help but reflect on his own situation, weighing the challenges ahead.

"I hope the wall will be built by tomorrow," Arthur mused. "The recruitment building has already been constructed, so I just need to recruit new soldiers from the recruitment building tomorrow morning. The houses for the newly recruited commoners will also be built by tomorrow, and the military base will be completed in a day or two. I've been making steady progress."

As Arthur pondered his situation, he couldn't shake off the feeling that the more his territory developed, the more work there was to be done. The responsibilities of being a lord were mounting, and Arthur's sigh was a testament to the weight of his duties. Despite the fatigue, he knew he had to keep pushing forward, driven by the desire to build a strong territory, he didn't want to share the same fate as the one who died.

"I need to establish departments that can oversee the territory's development and ensure its growth even when I'm not directly involved," Arthur thought to himself. "This will allow me to focus on more pressing matters, such as expanding my territory's influence and protecting its interests."

He also knew that gathering intelligence was crucial in this unforgiving world. "I'll send the Ghost Walker unit to scout the surroundings of my territory and gather information about the city where Kazu was from," Arthur decided. "The city lord of that city must be plotting something after I killed his commander. He won't let this go without a response."

Arthur's mind was racing with strategies and countermeasures, his determination to protect his territory and its people growing stronger with each passing moment. He knew that in this world, only the strong survived, and he was determined to be among the strongest.

As Arthur's thoughts continued to wander, his eyelids grew heavy, and he slowly drifted off to sleep, his mind still racing with plans and strategies for the future. Despite the weight of his responsibilities, he felt a sense of calm wash over him, knowing that he had a solid foundation to build upon. The softness of his bed enveloped him, and he succumbed to the exhaustion of the day.

The next morning, Arthur woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. He rose from bed, got freshened up, and headed out to inspect his territory. As he walked, he was impressed by the progress that had been made overnight. Robin and the other architects had been busy, and their efforts were evident in the significant advancements made on the houses, wall, and military base.

The construction was proceeding at a rapid pace, and Arthur could see that his territory was starting to take shape. He felt a sense of and satisfaction.

When Robin saw Arthur approaching, he immediately stopped his work and hurried over to greet him. "Good morning, my lord," Robin said with a respectful salute and a smile.

Arthur nodded in acknowledgment, returning Robin's smile. "You've done well, Robin. I can see you've been working all night," he said, his tone appreciative.

"Yes, my lord," Robin replied. "The houses for the newly recruited commoners have been built, and the wall on the east and north sides of the territory is complete. The military base will be finished by evening, as per your instructions."

Arthur's eyes scanned the construction site, taking in the progress that had been made. He was pleased with the speed and efficiency of his architects, and he knew that his territory was in good hands with Robin and his team.

Arthur spent a few minutes discussing the development plan of his territory with Robin before heading towards the recruitment building that had been constructed the previous day. The Blood Knight recruitment building stood out with its striking red color and imposing aura, which seemed to command respect. In contrast, the Silver Legion barrack, situated directly opposite, exuded an air of elegance and refinement.

As Arthur approached the recruitment building, he felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. "Time to recruit some soldiers from the recruitment building," he thought to himself. "This is the first time I'm using a recruitment building to recruit soldiers. Until now, I've been relying on summoning soldiers through the portal."

He checked the status of the recruitment building.

~Building Name: Blood Knight Summoning building

~Recruitment limit- 10000 per week

~Consumption- 100 Monster Stones per soldier.

Arthur's thoughts turned to the nature of the soldiers he could recruit from the Blood Knight recruitment building. "The soldiers summoned from this building are like puppets," he mused. "They aren't alive and can be used as cannon fodder in war." He understood the strategic implications of using such troops, knowing they could absorb damage and distract enemies without the burden of morale or survival instincts.

Building Name: Silver Legion Barracks

Level: 1

Recruitment limit- 5000 (per week)

Description: A prestigious barracks that can recruit elite Silver-ranked soldiers from the building.

~Use:

Recruit Silver-ranked soldiers, including rare and unique units.

Consumption- 10 gold coins per soldier.

In contrast to the Blood Knights, the Silver Legion soldiers were living, breathing troops with their own thoughts and motivations. The only distinction between them and regular soldiers was that they would remain at the silver rank forever, unable to advance further in rank. Despite this limitation, they would still possess the skills and abilities of silver-rank soldiers.

"Well, even if they remain at the silver rank forever, it won't cause me any problem." Arthur thought.

Then, Arthur opened his inventory and checked his resources. He was pleased to see that he had more than enough monster stones and gold to summon both Blood Knights and Silver Legion soldiers. With his finances in order, he felt confident in proceeding with the recruitment process, knowing that his troops would be well-funded and equipped to handle the challenges ahead.

Arthur clicked the recruitment button without hesitation. Instantly, a congratulatory message flashed on the screen:

"Congratulations, Lord! You have recruited 10,000 Blood Knight soldiers and 5,000 Silver Legion soldiers."

As the message appeared, the recruitment building began to shake and tremble. One by one, the soldiers started emerging from the building, defying logic as the structure seemed far too small to accommodate such a large number of troops. Arthur watched the spectacle with a mixture of fascination and detachment, his lips twitching slightly as he remarked, "Well, I've seen more magical things. This should be nothing."

An hour passed, and the procession of soldiers finally came to an end. As the last soldier emerged, they all kneeled before Arthur in unison. The Blood Knights, clad in blood-red armor, moved with mechanical precision, their actions lacking the fluidity of life. In contrast, the Silver Legion soldiers exuded an aura of security and elegance, their movements confident and poised.

The scene before Arthur was a testament to his growing power and influence, and he gazed upon his newfound forces with a sense of satisfaction and anticipation.

Arthur checked their stats.

Summoned Blood Knight Stats

- Health: 2,000-3000

- Attack: 300

- agility: 500

- Special Ability: "Blood Frenzy" - Increases attack speed and damage by 15% for 5 seconds after killing an enemy.

"These blood knight soldiers stats only have health, strength and agility. And only one skill. Well this is enough, they are mechanical soldiers afterall. I am even impressed that they have 1000 stats points in agility. Only gold rank hero have this many points in agility".

Then Arthur checked the stats of silver legion.

Silver legion soldiers-

Health- 3000

Strength- 150

Agility- 120

Mana-100

Intelligence+50

Skills- silver defence, silver strike, silver slash, silver mana rush.

"The stats are good."

Arthur said in satisfaction.

Then a system promt came.

A sudden system prompt caught Arthur's attention:

"Due to the influence of Mythical Rank Fortune Favor, the special traits of the territory. Your Silver Legion soldiers can now rank up."

Arthur's eyes widened in shock, followed by a surge of excitement and joy. "The biggest limitation of the Silver Legion has been removed," he exclaimed. "This Mythical Rank Fortune Favor trait of my territory is really special and overpowered. I will have to find out more about its abilities."

The prospect of his Silver Legion soldiers being able to rank up opened up new possibilities for his military strength and strategic options.

Arthur summoned Dock, Knuckle, and George to his side and issued a command. "Let these soldiers be under your units. I don't have any other commanders for them for now." With that, he entrusted the leadership of the newly recruited troops to them, tasking them with integrating the Blood Knights and Silver Legion soldiers into their respective units.
