[The player has purchased two steel dagger]
[Congratulations on your purchase, your system token balance is currently at 8,000 Gold Coins]
Two rugged, steel daggers with a sturdy, single-edged blade appeared in his hands. They had a simple, textured grip, and a minimalist guard, optimized for close-quarters combat and slashing.
The daggers had a side hilt on the dagger that was more of a quillon or crossguard, designed to protect the user's hand from incoming attacks rather than provide a secondary grip.
Nuel held both weapons firmly as he stood in the center of the valley of death. More Kraelgors had begun to spawn out of nothing while the existing one, waiting to wage war against him as he stood.
The Kraelgors made a furious shriek together, all at once and their ghastly wings vibrated at each sound they made.
[(Ding!)]
[Time limit till end of abyssal horror: 1:00:00]
Nuel wasn't so sure if he would survive this terror by himself or not as the situation in the realm was not on his side.
He was alone against a host of monsters he had never fought before and failure to annihilate them within the given time frame was death for him.
He tightened his hold around the hilt of his daggers and took the first leap at the closest monster.
The monster also took charge at him, leaving the rest to watch Nuel's first move, perhaps learning a bit on his own disadvantage as a human.
'The Kraelgor from the hospital attacked first with its arm. They all are made of spikes and I bet this one will do the same.' Nuel thought to himself.
Both Nuel and the creature continued to run at themselves, aiming to clash in the middle and just as Nuel had thought, the Kraelgor was already raising its spiky arm before it could reach the middle.
A slight smirk appeared on Nuel's lips as he saw Kraelgor's first move. Almost clashing at the middle, Nuel slide on his right heel, making a swift move by bending himself backwards while the Kraelgor slashed the air.
As Nuel slided under the creature's other arm, he could see a look of surprise in its face— just like he had just read it like a book.
'According to the system, the Kraelgor's intelligence is a 30 and that will be my riding cart against them.' Nuel thought.
Before Nuel could slide away from under the creature's arm, he plugged his dagger into its skeletal hip, causing a huge dent to its left upper limb.
'The dagger's damage is 5 percent, so my double attack will definitely finish off this limb.' Nuel smirked.
He roughly stirred himself back to the Kraelgor, slashing through the same limb which finally fell off from holding the beast's weight.
The Kraelgor screeched in agony as it fell, but Nuel was kind enough to not let it wretch in pain for long or perhaps, he was trying to not waste time dealing with just one Kraelgor while the others had begun to rage from behind.
Nuel hopped on the creature's body, slicing through its head with three strikes from his dagger.

[Congratulations, you have received a cobblestone]
[(Description)]
A cobblestone can be used to build weapons which are befitting to the player's taste. It can also be used to build gears and make in-system trades.
"A cobblestone." Nuel smiled as a small oval shaped stone which had a rough, textured surface that was slightly worn appeared where the Kraelgors remains had just vanished from.
[To store this reward, player is expected to purchase a system storage pocket]
[Do you want to purchase a system storage pocket?]
The system asked.
The cobblestone and other collectibles from his heist would definitely come in handy once he was finally by himself.
Nuel formed his grip on the hilt of his weapons and he gave the system a command.
"Yes. Purchase system storage pockets."
While he dashed towards the incoming Kraelgors and sliced through their ancient wings with his daggers like a hot knife cutting through butter, the system ran a series of notifications, informing him of his kills.

[Would you like to purchase an upgrade?]
"Yes!" Nuel managed to breath out as he couldn't ignore that certain notification tab.
[System storage pocket has successfully been purchased]
He continued slaying more and more beasts while he acquired a couple of scratches and gruesome dents at intervals, but he was a master at this game.
After all, he had to survive each attack on his own while the beasts he fought with could get respawned after he had mauled them to death.
Nuel was getting exhausted as he continued to fight his way through the hordes of Kraelgors and the more he killed, the less likely it seemed they would be reduced in number.
He couldn't catch his breath after slashing through the head of a beast and its head rolled down to his feet, its antennas wreathing away.
[(Ding!)]
Neul couldn't bring himself to read the notification as he was already beaten. He could feel his strength failing and his legs almost buckling as he managed to take off the head of the beast within range.
His whole body was drenched in the green blood; each creature he killed spluttered and he smelled so bad like a sewage system— if not worse.
Suddenly, all the creatures he had slittered came back to life, respawning with epic ghoul in them.
Their goal was to take down Nuel and they have observed his failing strength. Perhaps, this would be the end of him.
They all rushed in at him at once, taking flight with their ragged and jagged wings, filling up the whole sky like bats.
With disturbed uniformity, the flying creatures stormed at Nuel, ready to devour the last bit of him. He had a weak smile on his face as he watched them rush at him, just like he had won the battle against them.
