One sunny weekend, the school organized a picnic to a nearby park. James and Sophie were excited, as it was a rare opportunity to spend time together outside of school.
The park was beautiful, with lush green fields, colorful flowers, and a sparkling lake. James and Sophie decided to explore the area together. They walked along the lake, laughing and chatting about everything under the sun.
At one point, Sophie spotted a small boat tied to the shore. "Let's go boating!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement.
James hesitated. "I don't know, Sophie. What if we get in trouble?"
But Sophie was already pulling him toward the boat. "Come on, James! Live a little!"
Reluctantly, James agreed. They climbed into the boat, and Sophie rowed them to the middle of the lake. The water was calm, and the view was breathtaking.
As they sat in the boat, surrounded by nature's beauty, Sophie turned to James. "Isn't this amazing?" she said, her voice filled with wonder.
James looked at her, and for a moment, he forgot to breathe. The sunlight reflected in her eyes, and her smile was brighter than ever. "Yeah," he said softly. "It really is."
In that moment, James realized that it wasn't the scenery that was amazing—it was Sophie.
