As he open the skill tab, he check one of the rare skill book which is an offensive skill;
Flashing Strike 'R' - Creates a blinding light to strike the enemy at lightning speed without giving them the time to defend.
Upon reading the description, Alex frown "That's it? Its too vague. Unless I purchase this book, I won't be able to know its history." Alex saw the price of the book and its for 10,000SP. All he can do is sigh and check the other book;
Meditate 'R' - Allows oneself to meditate deeply and hasten the recovery of mana or spirit qi and possibly achieve enlightenment.
As he read the description, he was dumbfounded and then he saw the price of the book, his mind just went blank "What the hell?! 8,000SP for this book?!" Alex's knees weaken, he drops down on his knees and unable to stand up "I knew it! Not only the system is trying to kill me, it also wants to rob my money! Damn you!! Hic!" Alex just broke down and cry like a loser "I'm not a loser! You... You... You motherfu-" Alex was cut off by the mysterious voice. Anyway, Alex was avle to recover and plan what to do with his store and auction house "The auction house will be finished by another 2 days so I still have time to prepare. Plus, the Iron sun will be here tomorrow and hope that they can set up a perimeter around my shop." He said to himself. In no time, Alex arrive at his shop and went to his room early to take his rest as he would be busy by tomorrow.
Night passes and it was already morning. Alex ate his breakfast and was about to open his store when he saw the Iron sun party on their way to his shop. He smiles and greeted them, Clyde and the party did the same. Alex gesture at them to come in "As you are already guys familiar, this is a home shop. I have two vacant room here at the ground floor and another one at the second floor beside my room. I will let you decide you will stay at the ground floor and who will stay at the 2nd floor. Don't worry, those room has already beds and storage for your gears and items." Alex explain. Clyde thought for a moment and look at his party "Elise and Daisy will be staying at the 2nd floor. Vince, you will go solo on one of the rooms here at the ground floor so that when you set up the spell detection later, you would be able to concentrate. Kido, you will be with me and with your job as reconnaissance, I'll take care guarding the store at daylight hence you can rest at the room and at night, it will be your turn." Kido nodded.
When everything was assigned, they went on their rooms to settle. While all of this is happening, Alex is also sorting the items that he would sell in the auction. As of right now, he has 12,500SP and the Acolyte Potion, Tempering Potion and concentration Pill is priced at 300SP each while the Cleansing Powder is for 500SP. He check the sales inventory as well and as of right now, more and more are purchasing endure potion while the mana potion sales are below average. It means that there are alot of warrior type class in the town versus mage class and cultivators. With that in mind, he purchase 20 pieces of Tempering Potion 5 pieces of Acolyte Potion and 5 pieces of Concentration Pill. Alex still has 3,500SP remaining and decided to purchase 5 pieces of Cleansing Powder as well. With 1,000SP remaining, he decided to keep it for now as he still not sure what skill book to purchase.
After arranging all of the items, he calls on the Iron Sun party at the dinning area for lunch. After eating lunch, he put 3 Tempering Potion, an Acolyte potion and a Concentration Pill on top of the table. Daisy's eyes lit up when he saw the Concentration Pill "Such a strong spiritual Qi. If I eat that pill, I may be able to achieve the threshold for Spirit and Body Unity stage and be able to use the Godfield fist till the 4th step with ease and the 5th step for a mild injury." She said to himself. "Guys, these will be the specialty of my shop. These are the Tempering Potion, Acolyte Potion and Concentration Pill. Let me tell you guys their effect. First Tempering potion, this will help warrior class to temper their flesh amd bones. They can strengthen your physique upto 10%. For the Acolyte Potion, this is for mage class, it will help mage class to temper their Mana pool and increase it by 10% as well. And the last one, the Concentration Pill, this pill will help Spirit cultivators to widen their meridians and hasten their qi absorption. So Kido, Elise and Clyde, each of you will have the Tempering Potion. Vince will have the Acolyte potion amd Daisy will consume the Concentration Potion. These are the additional benefits that I can provide for now so I hope you can do a good job guarding my store." After Alex explained each potion's function. He left the crowd with a smile on his face and went back at the front desk.
After Alex left, the whole party still cannot process what just had happen. Daisy was the first to recover and immediately took the Concentration Pill and meditate. Clyde and the others look at Daisy who's in a meditative dtate. After waiting for a few minutes Daisy open her eyes and smiles "it's very effective. I can feel the faster qi absorption and my meridian can handle a bit stronger spiritual qi. Big sister Elise, If the shopkeep said was true, then big brother Clyde doesn't need to go to the capital just to buy the bone tempering potion. He just need to consistently take this Tempering potion whenever shopkeep provided to us and he can grow stronger than ever." As Daisy explained everything, Elise immediately grab the potion and chuck it in Clyde's mouth. Clyde was left with no choice and gulp the potion and after that, he can feel his body getting hotter and hotter hence he put himself into a meditative state and let focus the tempering on his injured arm. After a few minutes, Clyde open his eyes, stand up and grab his axe using his injured hands and slash his axe at the ground.
Boom! The ground was split and Clyde look at his injure hand and arm "Although there is still some pain when I slash my Axe, it's tolerable unlike previously that I can't even perform any slash without experiencing excruciating pain. Haha! These potion is indeed effective!" Clyde laugh heartily and can't help but tear up as well. Same goes for Elise, Kido and Vince.
