Night fell and the town of Moondrive atmosphere seems tense as numerous nobles and special people gathered at this town. Clyde and his party is doing their best to cover the perimeter around the store just to make sure no mishaps happen. Alex is getting nervous as tomorrow will be the auction day. "Please god if there is a god, please have this night passed peacefully." Alex pleaded. Apparently, it seems that the gods heard his plea and in a blink of an eye, it was already dawn and the sun was about to rise. "Wow! That works?" Alex was happy that the night passed peacefully. Although he hasn't sleep, he was still energetic as today is the day, that he will earn alot and hoping, he can upgrade the system once more.
Sun rises and the inns hotels and taverns are bustling even the market. Due to the visits of the nobles, discounts left and right was offered and the kost busiest shop at the market is of course, the Triton Company's shop. "Brothers, we really should thank that small shop. What was it name again? Heaven something? Anyway, we really should thank that idiot that brought those noblemen here." Said by Otto. "I agree with Otto, we really should thank that idiot and to show our appreciation, we will empty the pockets of these noblemen so that they won't have a coin later on when the auction starts." Lotto said while laughing. "Gotto, make sure to ensnare those viscount and counts and make sure that we will be their sole contractor in their fief." Mark grinned and clenched his fist "just a little bit more and we will be able to hold 80% of the market channels in the whole Lua Kingdom!"
At the Heaven Mystery Store, Alex and the others are preparing for the auction, all the tables and chairs has been arranged perfectly at the ground floor and the rooms at the 2nd and 3rd floor was neatly arranged as well. Alex also hire some servers as well, in case that the guests has some orders and they would be able to fulfill such as refreshments or foods. He also hired Lamar just in case Clyde unable to settle any commotion that will happen at the ground floor.
He huddled up Lamar and the Iron Sun Party "Lamar and Clyde, once all of the guest are settled, you two will stand by at the entrance observing the guests at the ground floor. Elise and Daisy, you two will observe the guests at the second floor and Kido, you will observe the guest at the 3rd floor. Vince, you will come with me once it's my turn to be an auctioneer." The party nodded and get to their positions and Alex went to the back stage to meet with Selene.
"Doctor, are you ready?" He asked "Yes! I'm ready Shopkeep." Selene smiles. Alex nodded and he goes to the stage to start the auction. Upon entering the stage, he observe the guest at the ground floor, the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor. He had a big deep breathe "Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the first ever auction of Heaven Mystery Store! For today's auction, we have 6 items in total and the first three will be introduce by our beautiful and special auctioneer!" At the end of Alex sentence, Selene walk up to the stage and the guest at the ground floor was getting rowdy. "Good luck Ms. Selene!" Alex whispered and went back at the back stage.
Selene faces the audience and smile sweetly "Welcome to the Heaven Mystery Store first ever auction! I'll be your host for the first part of the auction, Doctor Selene from the Waning Moon Clinic! And without further ado, let's start with our first item." Selene clap her hands and a server brought the Tempering potion at the stage. The onlookers is kinda skeptical with the blood-looking potion. After waiting for a minute, Selene giggles at the dumbfounded crowd and started to introduce the item "this potion right here is called Tempering Potion! This potion is specifically for warrior class type. This potion will temper flesh, blood and bones and strengthens them by 10%." After saying that, the crowd seems to be not impressed by the potion due to the Triton's hulk potion but Selene was not disheartened instead, her smile was more alluring "This potion's increase in strength is not temporary but permanent! Plus you can use this potion upto 3 times with no draw back! But if you use it more than 3 times, you will have a risk of medicinal poisoning. But if you are able to breakthrough even a minor one, you can use another 3 of this potion and it will stack with your current strength. In your lifetime, you can only consume maximum of 10 potions." After that explanation from Selene, the adventurers at the ground floor and the nobility at the 2nd and 3rd floor was in shocked with the potion's effect! "We must get those potions!" One of the adventurer team ay the ground floor said "Hurry and tell father about this and ask for more money!" One of the nobles at the 2nd floor instructed his subordinates.
Selene was giggles as she saw the chaos happening at the ground and 2nd floor though the third floor seems to be calm "Now, as you can see, we only have 12 Tempering potions and we will be sell it by 3's hence there will be 4 chances to get this potion. Let's start with the first batch! The starting bid is 800 Silvers with an increment of 50 silver per bid!" Selene open up the bidding.
"850 silvers!"
"900 silvers!"
"1,000 silvers!"
As the bid increases, Selene smiles becomes more and more captivating! Then a shout at the second floor was heard "This one offers 1,200 Silvers!" Selene look at the 2nd floor and saw who made the bid. It was a middle aged man with burly build. "Isn't that the Blade Lord of the Raging Valley?" Said by one of the onlookers who seemed to recognize the man "1,200 silvers once... 1,200 Silver twice... Sold! To the mister at the room 204!" The server took the potion and deliver it to room 204 and got the payment as well. "Let's start with the second batch! Starting bid is 800 silvers with increment of 50 Silvers. Start!"
