"I've heard that Kade Blackstone was in Silverfall the other day."
Felix almost choked at Eden's words. They were sitting in his house, drinking tea and eating leftover cake from work that Eden had brought, chatting about everything and nothing, Felix talking about Vivi, while Eden telling Felix all the newest gossip… When all of a sudden, Kade's name dropped.
Naturally, Felix was already aware that the Alpha had visited Silverfall. He was the one to arrange his meeting with the witch, and Kade even had spent the night in his house! (Only in his wolf form, though, so it was all perfectly innocent!)
But he had been in town for like, what, 24 hours? Just for one day, and Eden had already managed to find out about it. And he didn't even live in this part of town! Not that it was a problem that he knew, but…
"Ahem!" Felix cleared his throat. "Where did you hear that from?" he asked, trying to sound casual.
"Isla. She said she had seen him enter the bank on Thursday morning."
