In the duke's mansion, on the second floor, where the duchess has escorted Catherine to a room.
Catherine was still having her beauty sleep when her mind decided to take her on a journey to the dream land.
"Catherine saw herself standing on a huge mountain, the soft wind blowing on her as her black hair and cloak danced behind her. The huge mountain she was standing on was very thin like needle, and if not careful, would fall off a cliff. What was she doing here? She thought as she saw herself clapping both her hands crying and smiling. Why the hell was she clapping her hands?"
She was even crying and smiling at the same time? Strange, this dream is strange. She thought and before she could figure out what was happening, everything became blank and the next moment, the scene she saw made her froze as her eyes were wide as saucers and as though it was ready to bulge out from thier sockets. That scene she just saw shook her whole being that She didn't know how to react at that moment,
She couldn't believe what her eyes were seeing as the blankness suddenly turned to a battlefield, blood every where and piled up dead bodies everywhere. But that wasn't what shock her, as it was her husband, Lucas, he was looking like a true monster himself,he was covered in blood and he fell on his knees as if no strength was left inside of him anymore and the next thing she heard was taken him away...."
NOOOOO! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! She screamed till she woke up forcefully from that scary nightmare.
What the hell was that????
"Your highness, are you alright?" Brody had heard her screams and without a thought, barged in to the room only to see her all stressed and scared, with her tears filled eyes to the core.
Catherine's eyes were widely open as unshed tears began to stain her cheeks. Her hands shook violently as she didn't know what to do. The fear of loosing her husband...., it felt so real.....so real that she even thought it was happening in reality. Her eyes fell on the vampire guard staring at her with worried expression.
"Milady, is everything fine?" He asked worriedly as he didn't know what to do to console his highness wife. He didn't want to dare touch her in other not to get on his Highness bad side.
Catherine slowly nodded her head before she parted her lips to talk, she needed to see that her husband is safe. She thought.
"Take me back to Eldrida kingdom tomorrow morning. I want to see the prince." She had decided to keep this scary and deadly nightmare to herself. She thought.
Brody's eyes were wide open In shock and disbelief at what the princess just said. Did he hear right? Or was he imagining things? The princess going back to Eldrida kingdom? ! ! No way in hell will he do that. Or could it be the princess had a bad dream about elddrida kingdom? He slowly shook his head violently giving the wrong impression to the princess.
Catherine thought that he was refusing her because of her husband strict order.
"We won't cross the border to Eldrida kingdom. " She said calmly getting down from the bed.
Brody was torn as he didn't know what to do or say. On the other hand, the prince and the rest of their soldiers have headed back to Eldrida kingdom to launch an attack on the crown prince. And him taking the princess there is like bringing more problems for the prince.
Will you take me back to the kingdom? She asked pulling him from his train of thoughts.
Milady, looking at it, it will take us three to four days. He said even though his voice was begging her to change her mind, but looking at those determined black eyes, he didn't have the heart to argue any further with her.
Then we will go. She said with a firm and resolute voice.
I will go and get the necessary things needed for the journey. He bowed his head before leaving the room.
Meanwhile, in the bushy forest,
Lucas and his men were still riding their horses faster like never before. They were planning on reaching the border of the kingdom by tomorrow noon. They didn't want to waste anymore time. Lucas mind went back to her; his beloved wife who was wary of him because of the rumor circulating him, and at the same time fascinated by his handsome otherworldly looks.
He remembered the kiss they shared after being married for some days. The taste of her lucious lips felts so sweet that he didn't want to stop kissing her and to kiss her forever. He remembered her soft moan and for some reason, the monster residing within him vibrated. He wanted her right now and this instant. He groaned throatily at the thought of her. And he asked his men,
"Do you think Levi will suspect that we are planning on launching an attack against him?"
"Your highness, that I'm not sure of unless we cross the border of Eldrida kingdom". Mason replied calmly with the way his highness had asked them this sudden question.

The next day was a bright and sunny day as usual,
Lucas and his men were almost reaching the border of Eldrida kingdom. After riding a few more miles and passing by trees and forests, they finally reached the boarder of Eldrida kingdom.
They were about to cross the border when Lucas stopped them.
Hold on. He said with a narrowed gaze.
His men stopped confused on why the prince has stopped them from crossing the border.
I can smell death and blood. He said and his men also nodded their heads in agreement to what he said.
It seems we are underestimating the crown prince, your highness. Jaxon was the one who spoke.
He is planning on framing you your highness. Mason said with a calm tone.
