"What are you trying to imply?" Levi immediately retorted as if Lucas was trying to say something against him.
Lucas dark black grey eyes fell on his foolishly naive brother before he asked,
"Are you perhaps hiding something from the members of the family?" Prince Lucas asked with his eyes raised. And Levi could feel Lucas smirking at him behind those mask that hid his whole face except his dark black grey eyes.
Enough. You son of a bit.....
You wouldn't want to be disrespected second Queen. Lucas raised an eyebrow at her , but behind those mask, he was smiling like a true devil sent from hell.
Quiet there! King Henry voice thundered loud in the dining room making everyone silence,while his fixated gaze remained on his youngest son.
I asked you a question. He said coldly.
I think you said you heard some things that I did last night, not a question. He said in a way that made Queen Tira smiled at her brave son.
Queen Riley couldn't help but clenched her fists tightly. Anger was boiling in her like a 360⁰ degree hot water.
King Henry closed his eyes to calm his raging self before staring back at his useless son.
Did you do that? He asked calmly even though, he wanted to file charges against him so he could be killed and never to be seen again. That was what he was wishing for.
Every one knows I'm a daylight monster and not a night monster. He said as a matter of fact.
So are you telling everyone one here that you are innocent? The king threw a question at him.
If you put it that way your majesty, then I'm innocent. Lucas eyes shone while he speak like a gentle man. But those who knew those gentility aren't for the anyhow people, but his wife could only sigh In surrender.
Levi didn't have the leverage to talk back as he was too stunned by the twists of events.
"Your majesty, if you may permit, I shall go and bring the magistrate so he could go through it and bring the culprit to book".
Yes my king. Queen Riley quickly spoke.
King Henry bit his lower lip before taking a sharp deep breath and exhaling harshly.
"Fine, then". You have just six days to bring the magistrate back to the kingdome so he can work on the deaths that took place in the village. He said and Levi smiled proudly smirking at Lucas.
King Henry stomped out of the dinning room leaving the royal family alone in the dinning room.
How do you feel creating a scene BROTHER? Prince Levi asked tauntingly and sharply but Lucas was unfazed by his foolish brother's stupid question. Instead of answering him, Prince Lucas walked out of the dinning room leaving Levi unanswered and furious than ever.
Levi clenched his fists tightly and angrily walked towards the dinning room door and punched it.
LEVI ! ! ! Queen Riley cold voice echoed in the room making him turn to glare at her coldly before stomping out of the dinning room.
I knew it. Ever since Lucas has gotten married to that human girl, he has grown so much guts within just a short period of time. The royal grandma scoff coldly and left the dinning room to go back to her room have her nap. She didn't have the strength to fight or argue. If her stupid grandson, hadn't sent a proposal to the king of Hilltop, they wouldn't be facing this problem. The royal grandma murmered under her breath before entering her chamber.
Queen Riley stared at the first Queen before parting her lips to talk,
"How do you feel now that your unmannered son spoke to the king and I,even to his brother?, You must be feeling estatic right?".
Queen Tira just sigh exhaledly.
It's pointless arguing with you, I don't know what is there for you not to understand, the king went as far as accusing a member of the royal family on just a baseless statement. There is no single proof that Lucas killed those innocent humans, and moreover, everyone here knows Lucas isn't a vampire, but a daylight monster. So why the hate? Queen Tira spoke in a calm tone but behind those said words, were anger on the fact that the king has accused her son wrongly.
Excuse me, I need to do something important. Queen Tira stood up and also left the dinning room. Abigail gaze fell on Clara suspiciously before averting her gaze away, and she too left the dinning room.
Uhm, I'm full. I'm going back to my room. Lady Clara said and Queen Riley rolled her eyes at her daughter's naivety. Without anyone's response, Clara left, while Oliver left too since he has nothing doing.
Queen Riley picked up the glass of cup filled with red liquid. Blood. She was About to take a sip from it when the Queen mother spoke,
"My daughter in-law is just being careful with her words so you don't use it against her in front of the king. I'm very sure you understood every single word spoken by the first Queen."
Forgive me Queen mother if I did something that upsets you. Riley faked an apology, but the Queen mother was unfazed by her words.
You know we can't be pretending that we are in good terms. The Queen mother spoke in a serious tone and a bit colder than usual.
"Oh really, Queen mother how does it feel to have your own son being married to another woman like me? And even went as far as boring his children? What do you think?" Queen Riley smirked mischievously as green eyes shone brightly than ever.
The Queen mother was pissed but she didn't say a single word. She just stared at the foolish woman before standing up, and walking out of the dinning room. Once the Queen mother left, Riley smiled faltered as she wondered what was between the Queen mother and Tira that has given he rthe courage to talk back at her.
