Chapter 112 - Chapter 112: Fear

In the narrow room, two people stood at the door, and one stood on the bed.

Leaning against the doorframe, the distraught Professor Snape stared at the person he'd been yearning for.

Suddenly transformed into a blond - haired teenager, Snape slowly returned to normal.

Headmaster Dumbledore looked at the familiar yet strange - looking teenager, and he lost his usual composure.

After a long silence, he asked softly, "Can't you transform back?"

"I need to give it a try. I took this form 'cause I was afraid you couldn't find me and would start doing something."

After Light finished speaking, he started to figure out how to transform back.

At that moment, 'Grindelwald's' clear voice, which only existed in dreams, reached Headmaster Dumbledore's ears and made his hands tremble uncontrollably.

Professor Snape, having recovered, glanced expressionlessly at the emotional Headmaster Dumbledore. He was extremely certain that the headmaster had a deep connection with the teenager in front of him.

But he didn't want to care about it. Right now, he wanted to figure out what was going on more than anyone else.

After a long time, Headmaster Dumbledore calmed down. He watched Light, who was still struggling with the transformation, and began to give guidance.

"Don't think about your original appearance. Just change and follow your Magic Power. It has recorded everything about you."

"Just tell it that you need to transform back."

Light, who had a transformation talent as high as ten points, instantly understood what it meant and began to call upon the newly - shaped Magic Power.

Almost instantly, the Magic Power responded to his call. The Magic Power, carrying the information recorded in his spirit, spread out and started modifying his current body.

The figure of 'Grindelwald' twisted and transformed into a twelve - year - old boy.

As soon as Light appeared, a distorted wave radiated from him in all directions.

The small bed in the room began to twist and deform continuously, changing into all sorts of things. Even the surrounding walls began to distort.

"Magical Awakening?!"

Professor Snape looked at the surging Magic Power around him in surprise. He glanced at Headmaster Dumbledore, wanting to ask what was going on.

But he found that the headmaster also looked surprised. So he took out his wand, ready to stop it.

However, before he could act, Light suppressed the strange phenomena around him.

After completely controlling the Magic Power, he also received a message from the stone stele: "Completed the mileage 'Second Awakening'. Mileage Points +1, Magic Power: 6."

Professor Snape frowned and asked the bouncing boy, "Light Rogers, are you sober?"

"Of course, I'm very sober." Light stopped and replied with a smile.

Next, Professor Snape asked a few more questions, from potions to the situation of the professors in each house.

He answered all the questions methodically.

After confirming that there were no strange or suspicious signs in the person in front of him, Professor Snape put away his wand.

After Professor Snape finished questioning Light, Headmaster Dumbledore, who was standing by, immediately asked gently:

"Why couldn't we spot you?"

It was obvious that Headmaster Dumbledore was very patient and didn't directly ask about the two people Light had transformed into just now.

In response, Light didn't hold back at all and directly told them what he had done.

"I asked Hagrid to crossbreed a Boggart and a Thestral to create a new species. Then I used its blood for Brewing Potions."

"As for why you can't see my magical creature form, it might be that none of you meet the requirements."

After hearing Light's words, a thoughtful look appeared in Headmaster Dumbledore's eyes.

"But why...?" Professor Snape stopped midway, paused for a long time, and then continued to ask, "What was the basis for the transformation?"

Hearing this question, Light shrugged his hands and said helplessly with a look on his face,

"I don't know either. At that time, I just felt some strange emotions lingering around. I just took a look and wanted to transform, and then it happened."

After listening to Light, Professor Snape began to look puzzled and murmured to himself,

"How could it have accessed my information? I've always been using Occlumency."

Seeing the confused Professor Snape, Light thought for a moment and shared his view.

"Just now when I was performing the ritual, my Magic Power and spirit reached a profound state, which made my Magic Power stronger."

"Maybe the enhanced Magic Power, combined with the innate ability of the magical creature, managed to break through the defense of Occlumency."

Professor Snape, who didn't have much Research on magical creatures, reluctantly agreed with this view.

However, what he really wanted to know was why he saw the person he missed so much. Even though he had a guess in his mind, he still asked stubbornly,

"What's the basis for the transformation? Is it the death represented by the Thestral? Or is it what the Boggart represents..."

"Fear!" Headmaster Dumbledore, who had been silent all this time, finally spoke up, interrupting Professor Snape directly. Then he continued,

"I can sense that the memories being read are related to fear. I've had this feeling before."

After saying that, he ignored Professor Snape, who became dejected again upon hearing the word "fear".

He looked up at Light and asked, "Can you transform back into the magical creature? I want to conduct an experiment based on my guess!"

Light had no objection. A black mist emerged from his body, enveloped him, and then dispersed, and he transformed back into the animal form.

When Professor Snape saw Light start to transform, he moved away from the door, as if he was scared of something.

In his animal form, Light was very surprised to see the emotions emanating from Headmaster Dumbledore gradually fading.

Although the fading emotions were still discernible, he didn't know how to tell Headmaster Dumbledore about this situation.

After waiting for a while without getting a response from Light, Headmaster Dumbledore slapped his forehead and said directly,

"Can you still see my emotions? If so, transform into that person."

As soon as he finished speaking, a blond - haired teenager appeared in front of Headmaster Dumbledore. He continued to give instructions, asking Light to transform back into the animal form.

After conducting the experiment many times, Light could see that the emotions on Headmaster Dumbledore were fading more and more with each transformation.

Professor Snape, who was hiding aside, was extremely puzzled and had no idea what these two people were doing.

Finally, when Light transformed into the animal form again, he heard Headmaster Dumbledore say,

"I see you!"

Letting out a soft breath, Light wasn't overly surprised. After all, he could see Headmaster Dumbledore's emotions gradually weakening.

He knew it was only a matter of time before Headmaster Dumbledore could see his magical creature form.

Seeing Headmaster Dumbledore looking at his magical creature form in amazement, Light also became curious since he had never seen what he looked like in that form.

Light transformed back into his human form and specifically requested Headmaster Dumbledore to describe his magical creature form.

Headmaster Dumbledore, with a gentle smile on his face, kindly agreed.

After Light transformed back into his magical creature form, Headmaster Dumbledore waved his right hand. A wisp of light enveloped Light's body and then dispersed in the air, creating a vivid portrait.
