I was from a kingdom that fell victim to war. Citizens turned to enemies and formed a coup d'etat against our king in order to form a new kingdom so prosperous and amazing. My city fell victim to such disgraceful people. To betray their own, it was a sin like no other. Under obligation from the royal family of my city, me and my men were set to defend this city of such ratchet humans. People who were once nothing, turned to something due to their shere number and power. Me and my men awaited day and night by the gates for months anticipating an attack only for nothing to happen. Then on one fateful night, after we dropped our guard, they attacked.
Catapults began throwing boulders onto the city walls demolishing the building right behind them. The bell began to ring signifying an attack however it hit deaf ears. Some of the enemy men had already made their way into the barracks swinging their swords into my men. One by one each of us fell. Those who didn't ran outside the barracks to fall back into the city. Outside the city can be seen in shambles. Houses and taverns set aflame as well as hospitals set to ruble due to the boulders. Me and whatever remained of my men ran to the royal house in order to save what the head of the army deemed as "important VIPS." We tried to fend ourselves off on our way there but troops fell due to the catapults. Citizens can be seen crawling with blood being dragged with them. Some missing limbs, others with their guts hanging. It was a massacre.
After trampling over citizens who either are dead or pleaded for help, we finally made it to the nobles house, or rather what remained of the royal house. A crater can be seen inside the massive gates keeping them away from the outside. Upon rushing through the gates, someone can be seen lighting the house aflame screaming "Long live the revolution."
Countless enemy soldiers can be seen celebrating as we snuck behind them and struck them all. The rest of this felt like a blur. All I can recall was the king deemed this an embarrassing loss. He demanded my men to be slaughtered and for me to be abandoned. One by one, my men fell in front of me as I was held down to watch it unfold. Ally blood stained the army generals hands. Ally blood stained my body. At the end of all this, I just recall anger. My head began spinning rapidly as I was dragged like a criminal onto a carriage and was taken away blindfolded.

I awoke stranded in the middle of nowhere, hands untied as well as blindfold removed. I was left with nothing aside from my previous attire. I began my search for the nearest site of civilization. For all I know, I could be outside the kingdom. I walked for what felt like ages before the sun began to rise. Before, I used to sit atop a hill and enjoy the sunrise. My comrades right by my side as we enjoyed our breakfast. Now, I'm left alone to roam and be reminded of the melancholy thoughts.
I can barely recall the events that occurred. It's become a haze. I don't know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing. How long have I been walking for? I feel hungry. I feel thirsty. Is there no village in site?
Seconds turned to minutes and minutes turned to hours. Each step I took under the blaring sun gradually made me weaker. No animal to be spotted nor any source of water. If I continue in this state I don't think I'll last any longer. This is hell.
The sky has grayed and become clouded despite the beaming sun and the grass has disappeared. All that can be seen as I walk further now is moist dirt. Despite such an environment, I feel myself nearly passing out. I've been getting dizzy, unable to find balance. Why can't there even be a sliver of rain. I can last longer with this hunger, however this thirst is bringing me closer to death's door.
Hours pass. Has it been hours or has it been seconds? I cannot tell time any longer. My body is giving out on me. I cannot bear the burden of walking no more.
I try to walk and walk however I fall flat on my face. The burning heat and the constant walking from earlier has shriveled me up. Is this it. My final moments. I… I cannot keep my eyes open any longer… Even thinking has become difficult. Friends… Modrige… Franky… everyone…. Where are you…? Someone… help….
