What is there to every girl a Prince Charming? Where are they?
Are they lost on some distant path, wandering through other stories before they find their way to us? Are they on vacation, enjoying their time away while we sit here, waiting? If so, I hope they return soon, because waiting for the unknown has never been harder, especially when you don't even know if there's anything real at the end of it.

Don't let me get too broken before you arrive. Don't let the waiting turn me into someone who stops believing in love. The world says love will find me, that it's only a matter of time, but time is cruel. Time stretches endlessly, filling the space between longing and reality with doubt, loneliness, and questions I can't answer.
Being single is alive and well, but that doesn't mean the heart doesn't ache for something more. So come quickly, before I learn to live too comfortably in solitude. Come before my heart hardens, before I stop believing in fairytales altogether.
