Jax was shown to a fancy room with a polished wooden floor, a large open window with a balcony beyond it, a bath in the corner, and a massive bed with white sheets on it.
"You may request for anyone after 9," Serin said before walking away.
Jax watched her leave and shut the door.
"Huh, not a bad place for it being a village," Gemma said. "Well, one would expect this much for 5 opal stones."
Jax walked over to the bed and slumped down, his head in his hands. "I can't believe I actually got this room. I don't even need most of it."
Gemma laughed. "That's not even the worst I've seen someone do when they let their other head do the thinking," she said. "Just let loose tonight."
Jax lay on his back and looked at the ceiling. Even the ceiling was beautiful in this place. At least, compared to the other places he had been to.
Gemma flew around the room, leaving what seemed like tiny trails of light.
