As Ha-Joon moved forward, he swiftly knocked out all the forces along the way. He scanned around the estate before landing at Park Somi.
Ha-Joon didn't waste a second. As soon as he spotted Park Somi, he moved toward her with a sudden burst of speed. His sudden presence startled her, making her jolt in surprise.
"Ha-Joon?" she blurted out, eyes widening.
He didn't bother with pleasantries. "Go to the Hangure family," he spoke: "Prepare for the welcome of the young patriarch."
Somi's brows furrowed: "Young patriarch? Who"
She was really confused, as she had never heard of the young patriarch. She narrowed her eyes and stared at Ha-Joon demanding for an answer.
Ha-Joon took another step closer, he pointed at himself and spoke: "Me, I'm the young patriarch."
Somi's breath hitched being to close to him. She took a step back and remained silent. She knew his father was the patriarch, practically making him the successor. But since his father's dead, the family's higher ups had chosen to disband patriarch position for the absolute authority over the family.
Knowing this, she couldn't help being nervous at all. She didn't want to go against the higher up, but on the other hand, she couldn't reject her cousin, but if needed she will help him with her forces within the family.
Once again, she asked: "Do really have to go against them."
Ha-Joon chuckled, he could understand her concern because at this moment, higher ups had the absolute control over the family and wouldn't care about his word But he simply didn't want to miss the out chance to conquer them. And to be honest, He didn't really care about them because as it is right now, he could single handedly crush the whole family.
Shaking his head, Ha-Joon spoke: "Just deliver my words to them." And continued, his voice low but menacing: "If they don't dare, tell them to be ready to face my wrath."
A chill ran down Somi's spine. She knew Ha-Joon wasn't making an empty threat. He had fought his way since childhood to gain what he wanted. Though they may have not talked with eachother frequently, she had closely monitored him since his early days by the order of their family.
So, if they defied him, she didn't doubt he would make them regret it.
Dispelling her thoughts, she nodded: "I understand."
Ha-Joon held her gaze for a moment longer before turning away. He had delivered his message. Now, all that was left was for the Hangure family to recognize his arrival, if not they will pay dearly.
He slowly moved towards the rooftop to watch the lively ongoing fight of Shingen and Shintaro.
(A/N: From here on out, it will follow the same as webtoon but slightly different from it. Honestly it may sound boring for ya'll but still i wanted to write their fight. hope ya'll don't mind.)
With a roar, Shingen lunged first, his fist crashing down at Shintaro in one strike. The sheer force of his attack sent a shockwave through the air, but Shintaro was already gone, weaving around him effortlessly with the help of Aikido.
Shingen swung his arm in a wild backhand, but Shintaro redirected the force, guiding his brother's momentum away with a swift movement, using his own strength against him. In a single motion, Shintaro twisted his hips and slashed "Yodo Muramasa" in a precise arc toward Shingen's forearm.
Blood sprayed from his forearm across the dirt. Shingen barely flinched, but his eyes wide in disbelief. His Black Bone, the ultimate defense of their lineage, had been pierced.
"So, that sword truly lives up to its legend" Shingen spoke, swiping his blood from the wound. His face twisted into rage: "But it will take more than that to bring me down."
(A/N: I don't know, if Shingen knows about the sword but treat it as if he didn't know before.... Hehe}
Shingen lunged towards Shintaro with full strength, he forced Shintaro back and unleashed a devastating flurry of blows, overwhelming him with sheer brute strength.
Shintaro struggled to keep up. Despite his superior technique, Shingen's raw power began to dominate the fight. Each strike grew heavier, each movement forcing Shintaro to defend rather than counter.
"Father!" A desperate cry came from the sidelines. It was Gun, watching in horror as his father fought for his life.
Shingen's eyes flickered toward Gun for just an instant enough for Shintaro to move.
Seizing the moment, Shintaro twisted his blade and lunged forward. Yodo Muramasa pierced Shingen's side, cutting through the Black Bone smoothly. Blood gushed forth, and for a brief second, battlefield instantly quieted down.
Shingen's body trembled briefly, moved forward and spoke towards gun: "Kid tell me, what do you want."
( Here, Ha-Joon had knocked out all the fighters to not intervene for their fight.)
Gun hesitated for a moment and pleaded: "I want a name, .... please give me a name."
Before he could respond, Shintaro swiftly cut off the arm of Shingen.
Already nearing his limit, Shingen finally couldn't hold back and mange to utter a single word towards Gun: "Run."
But then, his entire body trembled, his instinct previously used to suppress his strength, now went berserk. The wild nature of the congenital "reverse eye", Oni.
Shingen lashed straight at Shintaro, his strength no longer restrained by thought or hesitation
Shintaro, still gripping Yodo Muramasa, tried to retreat, but Shingen's uncontrolled rampage caught him. A devastating punch sent him crashing through stones, his ribs shattering on impact. Blood dripped from his mouth as he struggled to stand.
Shingen gripped his broken ribs and slammed violently on the ground. He rolled his shoulder before turning back at Gun, rushed towards gun and violently swung his fist towards him. Before the fist could land Gun, Shingen narrowingly dodged him before slamming on the ground.
He spoke hoarsely: "Fool, didn't I tell you to ru-"
Before he could fully respond, Shintaro pierced his neck from behind his back.
Shingen, his body drenched in his own blood, stood tall even in death. His breathing slowed, his vision blurred. He glanced at Gun, caught his hand and threw him far enough to escape.
Then, at last, his body gave in. With one final exhale, Shingen remained standing, unmoving, even as life left his body. The battlefield was left in eerie silence, a testament to the terrifying might of Tora Oni.
