Early in the morning, The moment Shintaro confirmed about the truth from the previous head, he completely became crazy from the sheer anger bubbling in him. In a fit of rage, he beheaded Yamazaki Shinji and roared towards the house where Shingen usually usually rested. Having spent his whole life devoting to Shingen in his rise and fully embraced the burden for the family, he truly couldn't bear to stay silent.
The rebellion had erupted like a wildfire.
Having finally lost his reason from the anger, he gathered all his loyal lackeys and stormed towards Shingen place. In an instant, the once quiet residence broke in with the clash of blades and noises.
In the midst of chaos, Ha-Joon arrived at the scene, smiled and murmured: "Finally, It has started."
The guards once the forces to protect family had divided into two forces. One who fully supported Shingen while other one for Shintaro. They crashed into Shingen's forces like a wave, swords cutting and piercing through flesh. Thick smell of blood loomed all over the place as clash started.
The rebellion had created an opening for Ha-Joon to crush the forces of both side. And he fully planned to take the advantage at this moment.
Ha-Joon exhaled, rolling his shoulders. The thought of the battle excited him.
"Let's enjoy a hearty battle."' said Ha-Joon as he grinned wildly.
As one of the enforcers lunged at him, Ha-Joon let instinct take over. He activated his strength mastery—his irises flared a light red.
His muscles tightened, raw power surging through his limbs. The attacker swung his sword, but Ha-Joon caught it mid-air with his bare hand, the steel digging into his palm but failed to cut deep. With a single crushing blow, he sent the man flying into a crumbling wall, the impact shattering the stones.
Another attacker came, this one more cautious, testing Ha-Joon's reflexes with a feint before thrusting his katana forward. Ha-Joon's eyes flickered, shifting from red to an blue. His body moved, blurring past the strike in an instant. The attacker's katana hung in air. Ha-Joon reappeared behind him, his leg whipping up in a precise, explosive kick that sent him crumpling to the ground and dropped the katana.
"Weaklings." He muttered while dusting himself. He swiftly moved towards each guard knocking them instantly. As he finished knocking all the guards in his side. He turned his head and eyed Shintaro.
Across the battlefield, Shintaro breached through guards with one hand before heading straight towards Shingen's place. Just as he was about to enter, the door swung open, from the inside some of the elites of family, hurled towards Shintaro and his rebels.
Ha-Joon's eyes narrowed This was what I had been waiting for.
A massive warrior, clad in his dark red armor, turned his gaze toward Ha-Joon. He swiftly moved towards him and pointed his katana towards Ha-Joon: "You're not one of them."
Ha-Joon smirked. "And yet, here we are."
The warrior lunged, swinging his katana in a brutal arc. Ha-Joon's eyes flared red. He met the strike head-on, catching the katana handle just below the blade with his hands. The force sent tremors through his arms. The warrior's eyes widened, before he could move, Ha-Joon struck. He drove his knee into the man's gut, forcing him back, then followed with a spinning heel kick to the side of his helmet. The impact sent the warrior to stagger.
Ha-Joon's eyes turned blue, as he pressed forward. He shot a sharp jap straight at the man's throat, a crushing elbow to the collarbone and a downward axe kick to his skull in a matter of second, instantly crushing him on the ground.
He slowly exhaled, rolling his shoulder once more.
He turned his gaze toward the estate, the final confrontation was drawing near as fight was nearing its end. As Shintaro began to move inside of Shingen's personal quarters.
Ha-Joon shot a confused glance at Shintaro: "Why the hell is he carrying the head of former patriarch through out the battle."
( I guess he wants to show it to Shingen that he killed their father... haha)
Just as Ha-Joon was about to move towards Shintaro to watch their confrontation, he paused, a chill crept up his spine. Slowly, he turned his head.
Two figures approached him, Shigeaki Kojima and Hiroaki Kojima "The Ghostly Brothers", known for their flawless coordination. Their ability to move and strike as one, a perfect fusion of speed and lethality.
Ha-Joon was slightly stunned and thought Sh*t, I can't trust the information of webtoon.
He was truly dumbfounded, as they were never shown in the rebellion period in the webtoon. He shook his head, dispelled the un-necessary thoughts and stared at them.
The brothers struck without warning. Hiroaki lunged low, aiming to sweep Ha-Joon's legs, while Shigeaki attacked from above, his blade like hand sweep towards his head. Ha-Joon's eyes flared blue. He twisted mid-air, avoiding both strikes in a blur of motion.
He landed, but they gave him no time to recover. Their relentless assault kept him on the defensive. Every time he dodged, another attack followed, perfectly timed to exploit the smallest opening. He shifted between strength and speed, his eyes flashing between red and blue as he adapted.
They aren't just fast. They are precise and coordinated. I can't just rely on raw strength or speed. No, I need more to defeat them he thought while dodging back and forth.
In that moment, something clicked. Ha-Joon's eyes changed again not red, not blue, but a glowing light pink.
Technique mastery.
His movements instantly became effortless and precise. He no longer reacted to their attacks, but predicted them. Then, surpassing his previous limitations, he invented his own technique. His strikes disrupted their rhythm, blending elements of martial arts into something entirely new which disrupted the coordination of them.
Ha-Joon soon capitalized on it. A perfectly executed counter sent Hiroaki sprawling, and a seamless combination of attacks left Shigeaki gasping for breath. With one final, decisive strike, he ended the battle.
He exhaled, eyes slowly fading back to normal reverse eye and smiled towards them: "Hehe.. Thanks for the fight."
Having said that, He swiftly moved towards the estate and grinned slyly.
I get to watch one of the iconic fight between the reverse eyes in front row. hehehe
.....
(Some of you maybe dissatisfied with Ha-Joon defeating Kojima's Brother instantly and sorry for that. Honestly, they don't have enough feats to back up their strength and every time they appeared in webtoon they got absolutely wrecked. And if ya'll find mistakes the please inform me.)
