"Are you completely crazy?"
Hearing what the guy said, Tohka didn't plan on wasting any more words.
She carefully put away the serum Spider-Man had given her, grabbed her greatsword, before charging straight ahead.
"Roar."
Letting out a roar, the group of large lizards pounced on Tohka. In an instant, they surrounded her completely, using a gang-style attack.
But unfortunately for them, this kind of move might work against Spider-Man—
But against Tohka, it was nothing.
The next moment, a brilliant purple light exploded from within the green sphere, blowing all the lizard-men away.
Tohka, who stood at the center, didn't have a scratch on her—her clothes weren't even torn.
Without pause, she flew straight toward the lizard-form Dr. Connors.
The remaining lizard-men lunged after her again.
But it was a lost cause.
Even Connors himself couldn't do anything against Tohka in this state—
Let alone the small fries around him who were even weaker.
One after another, they were sent flying by Tohka's blows.
"Oh my god, this is like getting my laundry washed for free! Seriously, I should've checked the weather forecast before going out. That guy is having way too much fun!"
Spider-Man, barely dodging a falling lizard, saw one of his enemies get flattened by the impact.
Oscorp was hundreds of meters tall, and whether those guys survived the fall was no longer something he could care about—there were just too many.
But not everyone was so lucky.
Nova, the guy flying around with his flashy helmet, got hit by a falling lizard and wasn't too thrilled about it.
"What's so funny, you damn spider? It was just an accident!"
Clearly, Nova wasn't one to take a hit quietly.
He felt totally embarrassed by Spider-Man's teasing.
"Enough with the bickering —don't forget our mission."
Seeing that the two were about to start bickering, Hawkeye casually shot an arrow, knocking down a lizardman.
Hawkeye, seeing the two of them about to get into a trash-talk contest, casually fired an arrow and took down a lizard.
He reminded them sternly—he couldn't do much about Spider-Man, but as Nova's mentor, he had every right to scold him.
These people were all technically his juniors.
"Yes sir, I'll let you off this time."
Hearing Hawkeye, Nova gave a salute and, without waiting for Spider-Man's comeback, flew off again.
After all, there were still plenty of lizards to deal with.
"Tch. Who's scared of who? Running away so fast."
The little spider glanced disdainfully at them but didn't say anything further.
Tohka wasn't sure what was happening below, but she had already cleared out all the lizard-men around her.
Now, only Dr. Connors was left, and his device wasn't finished yet.
"Useless trash. You couldn't even buy me a little more time."
With a furious roar, Connors turned to face Tohka.
Meanwhile, his long tail was secretly fiddling with the controls behind him.
"Clever, aren't you?"
But unfortunately for him, Tohka wasn't focused on him at all.
Simply put—he couldn't hurt her.
So, she had already noticed the sneaky movement the moment he started.
Not knowing when this guy would finish, Tohka simply flew straight toward the giant lizardman —and then, with a heavy impact, she slammed into him.
What happened next was astonishing:
Despite the huge difference in size, the massive lizard-man was sent flying by the much smaller Tohka, tumbling right off the side of the tower.
"This is it… Spider-Man's serum, huh?"
After knocking the Lizard flying, Tohka violently yanked him away from the launcher.
Then she reached to her waist to retrieve the serum and…
Well, turns out—she had no idea how to open the container.
"No—!"
Just then, the Lizard, who had been knocked down, wrapped his tail around Tohka's leg.
With a sudden forceful pull, he flung her away before she could react.
The serum and injection in her hand slipped out and began falling through the air—
But the Lizard Doctor couldn't catch them in time.
"Watch out for the serum!"
Tony, down below, was busy clearing out lizard-men,
But his main focus was still on what was happening above.
After spending enough time with Tohka, he knew her personality all too well.
And sure enough, as he expected, Tohka ended up with the vials fall through the air.
"Catch that thing—damn it!"
Hearing the alert, Hawkeye shouted at the others.
But before he could finish, the lizard-men below—apparently realizing the importance of the falling serum—went berserk.
They suddenly acted like they were on drugs, throwing themselves recklessly at the heroes.
One even jumped up and grabbed onto Tony's armor by both legs, preventing him from breaking free to retrieve the serum.
Nova had it worse—he got dragged down by three lizard tails.
The others were too far away to help at all.
And some of the lizards that Tohka had previously knocked down had climbed back up the building and were now lunging toward the serum.
"Whoa whoa whoa! This area's off-limits! It's Spider-Time, baby—of course, this is where your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man makes his entrance!"
But just as everyone was getting overwhelmed, Spider-Man skillfully broke away from the lizard attacking him, swung through the air, and snatched the falling serum and injection mid-air with his web.
Then he swung himself onto another building, while the lizardmen, lacking his agility, lost their momentum midair and began falling one after another.
"Ah, it's over."
Unlike Tohka, Spider-Man was perfectly familiar with handling this kind of equipment.
He deftly opened the test tube and injected his own serum into it.
Immediately after, the green serum changed color, clearly losing its original effectiveness.
"No—!"
The word came slowly, but everything happened incredibly fast.
Up on the rooftop, the transformed Lizard-form Connors could do nothing but lie there and watch helplessly as Spider-Man destroyed the precious serum he had painstakingly created.
He knew it was over.
That batch of serum had been stolen from Oscorp—it was the last remaining supply.
Making more would be incredibly difficult—even gathering the raw materials would be a huge hurdle.
"Is that so? Then this is the end for you, too."
At that moment, Tohka, who had been flung away earlier, returned.
She stepped firmly onto Connors' back, and—
With spiritual energy surging through her, she drove the injector she'd been holding straight through his thick skin.
"AAAHHH!"
Letting out a scream of agony, the lizard thrashed violently,
Reaching both hands behind his back to try to grab and throw Tohka off.
