The sun hung low in the sky, casting a golden glow over the tranquil glade where Haelyn and Archer sat. The air was crisp, carrying the faint scent of pine and the distant murmur of a nearby stream. Nestled in Haelyn's arms, their newborn son cooed softly, his tiny fingers wrapped around one of hers.
Archer watched them with an expression of rare peace. "Have you thought of a name?" he asked, his voice low and warm.
Haelyn traced a gentle finger across her son's soft cheek. "Something powerful," she murmured, eyes shimmering with contemplation. "Something rare… calm, yet strong."
Archer tilted his head, waiting.
"Ezra," she finally said. "Ezra Rael."
Archer repeated the name under his breath, testing its weight. A slow smile spread across his face as he nodded. "It suits him."
