[Mini Story: The Sonic OSTs
No One's POV
One day at the guild, Sonic and Chip were about to go on a mission when Wendy and Carla questioned them.
Wendy: Sonic, do you have a minute?
Sonic: You have all the time you want. What's up?
Wendy: I've noticed something strange lately. During our fights, I feel like I can hear music.
Sonic and Chip: Music?
Wendy: I talked about it with Carla, and she also confirms hearing music during our fights. You guys haven't noticed it too?
Sonic: You probably won't believe this, but it's actually very simple. (He turns around with a serious face, the lights go out, and a spotlight shines on him alone.) It's part of my Aura!
Wendy and Carla were initially surprised but quickly regained their composure.
Natsu (annoyed): Hey, who turned off the lights?!
Happy: Looks like a power outage.
Natsu: Alright, I found the switch! (Pressing something soft) That's weird... the switch is usually harder.
Lucy (slapping him): Because that's my chest, you idiot!!!
Wendy: What do you mean, your aura?
Carla: And can you tell Chip to stop with his flashlight?
Chip turned off the flashlight that was shining on Sonic, and the lights in the guild came back on.
Sonic: It's simple: a character with enough aura can control the environment around them.
Wendy: I still don't understand.
Sonic: Well, ask the author!
Carla: The author?
Sonic: Demonstration!
Sonic jumped onto the counter and started air-guitaring. Suddenly, music began to play.
[Intro: Live and Learn - Sonic Adventure 2]
All the guild members looked around to figure out where the music was coming from but saw nothing except Sonic playing an imaginary guitar.
Erza: Where is this music coming from?!
Sonic: Can you feel life moving through your mind?
Oh, looks like you came back for more, yeah!
Gray: Since when does he know how to sing?!
They were so stunned that they couldn't even stop him from singing, but Natsu finally did by covering his mouth. The music, however, continued as an instrumental.
Natsu (scared): What the heck is this?! Are there ghosts here?!
As soon as Sonic stopped, the music also stopped.
Sonic: You see? It's part of my Aura.
Lucy: You can really summon music?
Sonic: Sort of. Watch this!
He snapped his fingers, and another song began playing.
[Escape from the City - Sonic Adventure 2]
The sound was so loud that everyone covered their ears.
Sonic: Rolling around at the speed of sound, got places to go, gotta follow my rainbow...
Erza (covering her ears): We get it, stop singing!!!
The most surprising part was seeing Chip enthusiastically joining in.
Sonic and Chip: FOLLOW ME, SET ME FREE, TRUST ME, AND WE WILL ESCAPE FROM THE CITY...
Natsu launched a Fire Dragon Roar at Sonic, but the music continued in instrumental while Sonic and Chip were roasted like grilled meat.
Carla: We shouldn't have asked him that!
Suddenly, the music changed without Sonic doing anything.

Everyone: OH, PLEASE, STOP HIM!!!

Chelia's POV
I woke up in a room that looked destroyed. I looked around and saw my partner already up, staring through a broken window at the place where we had landed.

Me (getting up): Shadow? Where are we?
Shadow: In another space-time. We could be in the past or the present-I don't know yet.
Me: And Mephiles?
Shadow (finally looking at me): He wasn't here when we appeared.
Me (looking at the ruined city): What happened here?!
Shadow: I don't know, but I have a feeling we're in the future-far from the present we came from.
Me: If this is what will happen if we let Mephiles destroy everything, we better hurry. But first, we need a way out of here.
Shadow: Chaos Control.
Me: What?
Shadow: With two Chaos Emeralds, I could teleport us back to the present.
Me: And do you have them?
Shadow: What do you think?
Me (hopefully): Yes?
Shadow: I only have one. I'll take you back to the present, you go home, and I'll handle the rest.
Me (shocked): Huh?! Are you crazy?! As if I'd let you fight alone in this messed-up future!
Shadow: And yet, that's exactly what you're going to do.
Me: No, I'm coming with you. We're a team, we have to work together.
Shadow: Sorry, but the best way to deal with this monster is to fight him with someone who has experience-which you don't.
Wait, is he saying I'm not capable of defeating Mephiles?!
Me (pretending to be sad): Why... why don't you want me by your side...?
Shadow: ....
He took my hand and gave me a glowing green emerald.
Shadow: If you want to come with me, promise me one thing: if the situation gets out of hand and I tell you to teleport away, you do it. Understood?
Me: What? No! I'll help you!
Shadow: Okay, then you're leaving.
Me (pouting and stopping him from taking the emerald back): Okay, okay, I get it! I promise. But you also have to promise me something.
Shadow (sighing): What?
Me (blushing): After this mission, you'll take me on a date... just the two of us.
Shadow: If by "date," you mean "goodbye meeting, and then I never have to deal with you again," then sure.
Me (angry): You really want to get rid of me, huh?!
Shadow: Anyway, we're not going to stand around chatting-the mission comes first!
He started walking, but when he saw I wasn't following, he looked at me, sighed, and crouched so I could climb onto his back. We left the building and I realized it was tilted, so as we exited, Shadow slid down the windows to get to the ground.
Me (terrified): Aaaaah! Shadow, slow down!!!
Shadow (without looking at me): I can also drop you into the void if you'd prefer.
He jumped and we landed on a collapsing road. He held onto my thighs so I wouldn't fall-normally, I'd cross my legs around his waist, but he grabbed me instead. Shocked by this, I decided to tease him a little.
Me (whispering in his ear): I knew you had a thing for my thighs.
He suddenly tensed up, his hedgehog ears twitching excitedly. Without a word, he put me down, lifted me up, and threw me off the road.
Me (screaming): AAAAAAAH, SHADOW, YOU'RE INSANE?!
I was falling toward the lava, but just before I hit it, I felt something grab me-it was Shadow, hovering with his air shoes.
Shadow: That's the last time you talk in my ear without permission. Next time, I'll let you swim in it, got it?
Me (nodding repeatedly): Yes, yes, yes, I got it!!!
He teleported us onto a rooftop and pointed at something in the distance. I saw a massive fire tornado spinning far away
Shadow: "What do you feel when you see this?"
I started observing the tornado more closely when I sensed a familiar presence. It was impossible... Could it really be...?
Me: "A god!"
Shadow: "It must be Mephiles. I also sense an emerald nearby, but let's deal with him first."
I climbed onto his back, determined to face a god. He dashed toward the tornado, skillfully avoiding the debris it was throwing.

Shadow's POV
I charged at full speed toward the tornado, but something started to trouble my mind. I felt unease in Cherrya's body.
Me (still running toward the tornado): "Blendy, why are you worried?"
Chelia (surprised): "Huh? No... I'm not worried..."
Me: "You are. Even with your determined look, I can tell."
Chelia (surprised, then resting her head on my left shoulder): "This is my first time fighting a god... I don't know if I'll be strong enough..."
I thought for a moment. I didn't know what to say to comfort her, but there was one thing Yukino had taught me for moments like this.
Me (stopping and letting her down): "Blendy, I really don't know what to say... but there's one thing I can do to cheer you up."
I hugged her after reverting to my human form. Her eyes widened in shock, but she let herself sink into my embrace.
Chelia: "Actually... there is one thing you could do..."
I ended the hug and looked at her.
Chelia (blushing): "Could you call me by my first name?"
Me (irritated): "Are you kidding me?!"
Chelia: "No... It's just that ever since we met, you've always called me by my last name... It would really mean a lot if you said it."
I sighed before attempting to say her name.
Me: "Alright, Che..."
Chelia looked confused when I stopped mid-sentence, but I was mesmerized by her blue eyes as she gazed at me. What was happening to me?!
Me (trying to say it but turning red with embarrassment): "Che... ch... Cheli..."
I averted my gaze for a moment, embarrassed. She didn't understand why and looked saddened.
Chelia (sadly): "I see... You don't care enough about me to say my first name."
She walked past me, looking down.
Me: "Huh? No, wait, Blendy!"
I realized I had called her by her last name again. Damn, what was wrong with me all of a sudden?! I looked at her again and saw that a car was about to fall on her, but she hadn't noticed. I launched a Chaos Spear, destroying the car above her before it could hit.
Chelia (shocked): "What the...?"
Me (angry): "You need to be more careful! A little more and that car would have crushed you before the battle even started!"
Chelia: "You're right... I'm sorry. I need to pull myself together!"
She slapped her cheeks and regained her radiant smile. Uh... just pretend I didn't say that...
We stood before the tornado. I nodded for Chelia to strike first. She launched a wave of black wind at the tornado, but it had no effect. Instead, fire monsters emerged from the ground to attack us.
Me (shifting back to my hedgehog form): "You take care of the tornado, I'll handle these beasts!"
Chelia: "Got it!"
She summoned several wind blasts that began weakening the fire tornado. I fought off the monsters closing in on her. They were so weak that I defeated them all with simple Homing Attacks. After finishing them off, I looked at my partner-she seemed exhausted.
Me: "Want me to take over?"
Chelia (tired but still standing): "No, I'm fine... It's just that the air is a little thin here."
No surprise, considering this heat. A little more, and I'd be as naked as that ice mage from the blue hedgehog's guild.
Chelia unleashed a black wind roar, but suddenly, she started floating in the air. I wanted to grab her, but she was already too high. I saw a shape forming around her-it was a hand tightening its grip with her in the middle. The tornado stopped, revealing a hideous monster that resembled a fire demon.

???: "We meet again, God Slayer. You still have the same youthful look since our last encounter. I thought I had burned you to ashes in my eternal flames."
Chelia (being strangled): "Who... are you?"
???: "You've forgotten me already? And yet, you were the one who tried to seal me away before."
Me (angry): "Who are you, and how do you know her?"

???: "I am Iblis, the sun that reigns over this world, unleashing my destructive fury ever since you freed my dark counterpart."
Me: "You mean Mephiles?"
Iblis: "The one you were supposed to seal. Instead, you released him, and now an endless war has ravaged this world. Now, it's your turn to suffer my wrath!"
He clenched his right fist, crushing Chelia, who screamed as smoke rose from her body-he was burning her alive! I leaped forward and, with a Spindash infused with red energy, sliced through the monster's arm, freeing Chelia and catching her mid-air.
The beast roared as his severed hand regenerated. I examined Chelia-she had some burns, and the top part of her clothing was singed.
Chelia (coughing slightly): "Don't... worry about me... I can regenerate... focus on him..."
She started glowing, a sign she was healing. I turned back to Iblis with a dark expression, removed a ring from my left arm, and charged a massive red energy orb while he prepared a fire roar.
I launched my attack as he unleashed his, and our powers clashed in a massive explosion that sent us flying apart. I could see him, half-consumed by my attack.
As we soared through the air, I noticed we were heading toward a giant volcano. I saw Chelia falling directly into its center. I activated my boots, increasing my speed to reach her. Just before she fell in, I caught her, and together, we plunged into the volcano.
Chelia's POV
I opened my eyes and saw that Shadow was holding me tightly as we were falling into a giant volcano. I panicked for a moment before realizing that we were about to land in the lava. I let out a roar that lifted us back into the air, and Shadow, looking around, found a platform where we could teleport.
Shadow: "Are you okay?"
Me: "I think so, yes. Thank you so much, Shadow!"
Shadow looked at me, his cheeks slightly flushed, before quickly looking away. That's when I realized-my top had burned, leaving my chest completely exposed under my bra. I blushed and covered myself with my arms. Shadow handed me his jacket, still avoiding my gaze.
Shadow: "At least this might help."
I took the jacket and put it on, but my chest was too big to close it properly.
Me (disappointed): "Um... I think it doesn't fit because of my chest..."
SPLASH!
I heard a splashing sound and saw Shadow turning his back, wiping his nose.
Me (worried): "Are you okay?"
Shadow: "Oh, uh... yeah, don't worry. I think I hit something on the way down."
Me (approaching him): "Are you hurt? I can heal you if you want."
Then, I saw something unbelievable-Shadow had a nosebleed, and his face was as red as a tomato. Don't tell me... Aww, what a big pervert!
Shadow (handing me his white shirt): "Here, put this on too!"
He gave me his shirt, then shifted back to his hedgehog form, put his ring back on, and continued looking away. I put the shirt on, and this time, it fit, though it was tight around my chest.
Me: "Alright, we can go now!"
Shadow (turning around): "Perfec- (quickly turning away again) Actually, I think it's better if I go ahead. There's an emerald not far from here. Maybe we can find it and get back home..."
Just as I thought-he can't help but look at me. Aww, Shadow, I never imagined you'd have this effect on me. Love is truly incredible!
As we continued our journey, we encountered the same type of monsters as before and ventured deeper into the volcano. Eventually, we arrived at a large, round platform where a glowing yellow emerald was sitting in the center of the arena. As soon as I saw it, I ran toward it. The moment I reached out to touch it-
Shadow: "Don't touch it!"
A dark light burst from the emerald, sending me flying backward. Shadow rushed to stand in front of me protectively. The dark light took form-it was Mephiles, who appeared, holding the emerald in his hand.
Mephiles (contemplating the emerald): "Well, well, Shadow. I thought you'd bring your little friend back to the present so we could have a face-to-face fight, but it looks like you don't want to go solo."
Shadow: "If you want to fight me, you'll have to fight her too."
Mephiles: "Now I understand how I was freed-thanks to your shadow. Seeing your combat skills, I think you'd be a great ally against Iblis. So, what do you say? Want to join me and rule the world together?"
Shadow: "If I want to rule the world, there's no room for anyone else. I will never let you destroy this world just because of some stupid feud with Iblis. We're going to seal both of you away!"

Mephiles took on a new form. I got up and took a battle stance.
Mephiles: "Then this is where your days end!"
Suddenly, an army of clones emerged out of nowhere and charged at us. They weren't just a hundred; they were thousands. Shadow destroyed them easily with energy spheres, while I created a gust of wind that blew them away. No matter how many we defeated, more kept appearing. Shadow rushed at Mephiles with a punch. Mephiles took the hit without resisting and fell to the ground-but strangely, his body turned into a sort of purple goo.
The entire platform suddenly became covered in the same dark liquid, and the clones vanished into it. I couldn't move-this goo was trapping me. Eight clones closed in on me, but Shadow teleported in front of me, destroying them one by one with his Chaos Spears.

He didn't realize that Mephiles had emerged from the liquid, preparing to stab me with a blade extending from his hand. That's when Shadow leaped toward me and took the hit straight to his stomach.
I watched in horror as he fell into the viscous liquid, agonizing, his stomach bleeding. My vision became blurry, but the last thing I saw was Shadow closing his eyes and Mephiles attacking with destructive strikes...
I'm going to kill him. I'm going to kill him. I'M GOING TO KILL HIM!
I started throwing powerful blows at him, even as he shifted into liquid form to dodge some attacks. He summoned clones to surround me, but I activated my Chaos Control (thanks to the green emerald he had given me). I attacked each one and unleashed wind blasts in all directions so that they would be hit as soon as time resumed.
At the same moment, I delivered a spinning kick to Mephiles, who collapsed into the dark liquid, dropping the yellow emerald. Time resumed, the clones exploded upon impact, and I grabbed the emerald. I ran to Shadow, took the second emerald from his pocket, and created a teleportation portal that brought us back to the present.
We landed on the balcony of a grand castle at night. I was on the ground with Shadow curled up against me. I stood up and examined his wounds-they weren't too serious. He could survive if I healed him, but...
The window opened, and I saw a very tall girl, about Yukino's height. She had brown hair, black eyes, and wore a white dress. She stepped back as if she were about to run away.

Me: "Wait! Are you Princess Elise?"
Elise: "I... I am, but... who are you?"
Morning...
Shadow's POV
I suddenly opened my eyes and saw the ceiling of a beautiful room with elegant decorations. How did I get here? I was fighting against Mephiles... Chelia, where is she?
I tried to get up but felt something snuggled against me under the blanket. I lifted the blanket and saw Chelia in her underwear, sleeping beside me, while I was only in my briefs. It was a beautiful scene... NO, I mean, where are we, and why are we suddenly in some sort of castle?
I was still lost in thought when Chelia woke up beside me. She quickly sat up as soon as she saw I was awake.
Chelia (panicked): Shadow, are you okay???
Me: Uh, yeah, I'm fine. I just needed to recover...
Chelia (snuggling closer to me): I was so scared you wouldn't wake up. It's my fault you got hurt...
Now that I think about it, I do have a wound on my stomach.
Me: I've always told you, you don't have to worry about me...
Chelia (interrupting me, tears in her eyes): But I just can't stop worrying about you. My love for you can't just fade away like that.
Chelia... I wonder what I did to deserve such an angel in my life.
Me (wiping her tears): Alright, I get it. Thank you for worrying about me, Chelia.
She smiled at me. I was about to get up when suddenly, the door opened. A girl in royal attire entered. She was shocked to see Chelia and me, almost naked, in bed together.
Elise: Excuse me! I'll come back later!
She shut the door before I could respond.
Me (frustrated): By the way, Blendy...
Chelia: Yes?
Me (shouting): Why are we almost naked?!
Chelia (remembering): Ah, um... actually, our clothes were dirty, so the princess offered to have them washed. Also, I spent the rest of the night taking care of you, so... (blushing) I wanted to sleep with you...
I looked away to hide the fact that my face was already redder than hers.
Me: Wait, are we talking about the Princess of Soleanna?
Chelia: Yes. When I teleported us back to the present, we landed here, and she took us in because your condition was serious.
Me: And you spent the whole night taking care of me? You shouldn't have...
Chelia: Don't worry, you would have done the same for me.
Me (muttering): Yeah, but for me, it's different...
Chelia: Huh?
Me: Nothing... We should go see the princess.
We spoke with the princess, who explained the situation in Soleanna, the City of the Sun, the god Iblis, and how Mephiles wanted to take Iblis's power to become a perfect god. Elise also told us she was the vessel of Iblis and that she must not be sad, or she could release the power of the Sun God.
A few days passed, and I was starting to recover. It was nighttime.
Me: I think we've stayed here long enough. We should go back to searching for Mephiles.
Chelia: But Princess Elise is in danger. If Mephiles finds her, he will release Iblis, and the future we were in will come true.
Me: Then we need to find Mephiles before he finds her!
Chelia: You're probably right.
AAAAAAAH!
A scream echoed through the castle-it was Princess Elise.
Me: Did you hear that?
Chelia: Yes, it's Elise!
We rushed to her room. Upon entering, we saw Dr. Eggman capturing the princess.
Me: Eggman!? Let her go immediately!
Dr. Eggman: Oh, I never imagined seeing you here again, Shadow. Anyway, sorry, but this girl has a power that only I can control now.
I was about to charge at him, but Chelia pulled me back just in time to save me from being blown up by a missile from one of Eggman's robots. He flew away, while Princess Elise screamed in distress.
Me: Damn it, we let him escape!
Chelia: Don't worry, Shadow. We'll find him before he tortures her to get her power.
I stood up and looked in the direction he had gone. I had an idea.
Me: Blendy, do you still have your map?
Chelia: Yes, why?
Me: Give it to me!
Chelia: And the magic word?
Me: That's an order.
Chelia: Nope.
Me (sighing): Please.
Chelia: There you go! But next time, say it with love.
She handed me the map. Looking at where Eggman had gone, I pinpointed the exact place he could be.
Me: White Acropolis!
Chelia: What?
Me: That's where he's holding Elise!
Chelia: Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!
She grabbed my hand, and we ran out of the palace, heading for the city's exit.
This is getting intense between our two characters,will they be able to confess to each other?
