Emilia
There was a lot to take in. First, come to think of the blood of wolfsbane, and pack runs, and now a blood tie and still sort of mated to Beta Clarke.
Flashing my eyes up to Alpha Anker, I lowered them immediately. He had his gaze fixed on me.
"I swear." I whisper again. "I swear, I don't know what you're talking about."
"And that is the most frustrating thing, Emilia. I know you don't have a clue what I'm talking about."
I wanted to ask him why he was so angry, but I kept my question to myself.
"I most never want to be near Beta Clarke again." I mumble, and from the corner of my eye, I see his face relaxed. There was almost a hint of a smile on the corners of his lips.
"Well, that is good, I don't even have the intention of giving you back. "He rises from his seat. "Theresa has said you can come back to the house. Are you capable of walking, or do you prefer I carry you?"
"Don't worry, I can walk." I mutter.
