I duck back down in fear. What the fuck was it? I couldn't bring myself to look again. I had a knock on the door, but couldn't open for fear, I just jumped.
"Please let me in, Emilia, it's me." Alpha voices came from the other side.
Sitting at the door, I stare in silence as the handle of the door is fumbled with. I felt like not moving at all. I didn't want to leave my safe spot. I was actually grateful for the blot on the door.
"Emilia, I know you saw everything. The beast has been dealt with. It's dead now. You don't need to be afraid."
"Pushing myself, I stood up and peeped through the window. All the wolves had disappeared from sight along with the monster. I started to move some of the chairs out of the way, I slowly slid the locked back.
