It took Spiderman's No Way Home to a new level. We had no home to return to. Not even the Infinity Stones could fix this. Perhaps RDX-69's power could, through the simulations? I'm not sure. But it's as dead as it could be, just like how Natasha here would sacrifice herself to obtain the Soul Stone.
This caused the atmosphere around us to turn weird. Natasha immediately senses this change. An apologetic look appeared in her eyes.
"I'm sorry. That must have brought up some bad memories. I don't know your entire situation or what you all have gotten yourselves in, nor is it my business to pry into it. I just went with the flow of what Momo requested, in hopes to ease your worries. Even so, your business is my business, unfortunately whether you like it or not. I am currently assigned to look after you. Your name was brought up. It is Baki Hanma, I take it?", Natasha questioned.
Let's just ignore the fact the Black Widow is still dressed in a naked apron, just like Momo.
"It is. I am indeed Baki Hanma. A pleasure.", I said, greeting Natasha.
"Natasha Romanoff.", Natasha said, introducing her real name to me. Not one of those fake aliases. That's already a plus in my books. She likely wouldn't have done that if things didn't play out this way. Otherwise, we would be under a bunch of pretenses, something I didn't want. "Anyways, we really ought to change back into our normal clothing. Like I stated, I just went with the flow. It's not like I like you or anything. I wanted to see what it would be like dressed like this. It's pretty comfortable.", Natasha said.
"Ouch, but I'll take it. I'm married anyways.", I retorted.
"To one of these girls, I take it. But I'll pretend I didn't hear that.", Natasha scoffed. "We really ought to go change, Momo.", Natasha said, looking at the pink-haired girl before her.
"I suppose that's for the best. This attire served its purpose. And by the way Nat.", Momo said, suddenly calling out to her.
'Already addressing each other so casually?', I mused to myself, keeping quiet on the matter.
"Yes?", Natasha responded. All I saw was Momo clapping her hands together, revealing a playful smile.
"You see. Where we come from, the husband in a relationship doesn't just marry a single girl~", Momo said, teasing us. Or likely me. She was super big on creating a harem in the anime, and even went overboard at times. She isn't...going to push that on me, will she?
Well. If it happens, it happens, I guess. It's a concept I don't immediately reject outright, it's just foreign to me. Just having more than one girl in your life...
I quickly shook that thought away, while Natasha sent a cold gaze to Momo, which caught her off guard.
"I'll pretend I didn't hear that, either. It's not like I can make a family anyways.", Natasha said, remaining cold on the subject. It caused us to turn quiet. She started to slowly walk away to the side, only to turn my way again. "Oh, and don't you dare look our way. Not unless you want to see that face of yours planted into the floor.", Natasha continued to say.
"As if. I know my boundaries. You can proceed along.", I responded with a nod. I shifted my head the other way. I didn't even dare to take another glance at her ass, which would likely reveal itself while she took Momo into another room nearby.
"Smart choice.", Natasha said, smiling this time. Seeing me not move a muscle while I looked the other way, I inwardly sighed. She wasn't your normal woman by any means. Natasha is an ex-assassin. She could detect the subtlest of movements. I didn't want to take any chances here. So I simply remained still.
I did not want to find that out the hard way.
While Natasha pushed Momo into another side room, Momo remained quiet. Her thoughts were starting to swirl.
'What do you mean that you 'can't start a family'...?', Momo wondered to herself. Momo never expected to come across someone like this. Someone who can't bear children. Or in Natasha's eyes, one who couldn't start a family. That was because she simply couldn't. That's the curse of participating in the Red Room. Once you go inside that place, you're toast. Your life is over as you know it.
'But then again, there is space magic here, considering this is the MCU. Something in that deep, deep galaxy could potentially fix this issue. Then there's RDX-69, whose potential knows no limits. Something could happen...', I thought to myself while I heard a door close nearby.
Yet I quickly shook that thought away.
'Why am I even thinking this? I don't even know this woman.', I thought. Well I do, but you get my point. I am in no relation to the Black Widow. Either way, I couldn't help but sigh, coming to a realization. You know, how that naked apron scene played out. This is just one but of many random ecchi moments to come, I'm sure. To Love Ru was known for that to happen at random points in its story.
"I'm going to have to get used to this, aren't I...", I uttered. I turned my head, seeing that I was alone now. To my surprise, that thought quickly vanished too, as I heard another door creak open. It wasn't the door that Momo and Natasha went into. It was the door I came out of.
"Get used to what, Baki-kun?", A voice of a girl said, causing me to immediately look into the doorway. I smiled, as I recognized who it was. The oldest of the three pink-haired girls who came with me into the MCU. All of a sudden, this girl initiated a sprint, and suddenly tackled me. A warm feeling spread throughout my entire body as she hugged me. Even her tail wrapped around my waist, not wanting to let go.
"Oof...", I replied. "That was a nice tackle there. Sure sounds like you've recovered enough. You feeling better, Lala-chan?", I questioned. She seemed as healthy as one could be from her appearance alone, but I still wanted to double check. We parted our hug, and Lala nodded at me.
"Uh-huh! Everything's hunky-dory! I've let some thoughts settle and even Seph---", Lala tried to say. I quickly raised my hand, placing my finger over her lips, suddenly silencing her words. Lala just blinked at me, not expecting me to do this. I just whispered back at her.
"We're in a place with many eyes and ears, Lala-chan. We can go over our personal info once we've settled. For now, mum's the word.", I whispered to Lala. It would be best not to talk about our system, considering this is the famous Stark Tower. Fully driven by autonomy, and by a very advanced AI, who went by the name Jarvis. This AI maintains the structure and integrity of this entire building.
Which meant, Jarvis had eyes and ears on the entire damn building. In a way, we were under a constant surveillance system. Not that I didn't mind it, but I knew there were certain lines we shouldn't tread while being here. Talking about our system was one of them. We had to keep quiet about it for now.
"Got it.", Lala responded, seeing me be serious about this. We parted from our hug, and my finger left her lips. As she answered that, I saw her tail swoop downward. "This...really isn't the home we once knew, is it?", Lala questioned.
"It isn't.", I replied, letting out a sigh.
"I see. Then that means we just have to take a big step forward! Being mopey all day long isn't going to solve what we're dealing with now. And that includes our relationship too, Baki-kun. You...probably saw the same thing I did, then. But that's okay. We can make new memories!", Lala said, trying to cheer the both of us up. I smiled and nodded my head at her.
"Mmm. I'd like that. It should be less chaotic now. I hope we can take things at our own pace.", I replied. God stated that our reality was swallowed up because it created too many worlds, causing the forces of darkness to advance, and was unable to be stopped. The worlds are still going to factor into this new life of mine, albeit differently. Through simulations, and not via the real world. The chaos caused by that should lessen tremendously. Hopefully enough to where we can live out our lives at our own pace, like I had stated.
"Oh my. Should we leave you two lovebirds alone?", A familiar voice called out to us. A few moments passed behind the door that was closed, only to show Momo and Natasha again. Momo was in her school uniform, the same one she came with. A week did pass while I was out, so it was possible her wardrobe might have expanded. It depends on what's all available in Stark Tower. Momo might have already ventured off into Manhattan. A lot can happen in a single week. I'll need to check up on what all she has done so far.
As for Natasha, she wasn't in her usual outfit she would wear when she fought her enemies. That full-body biker suit. No. She was presently wearing a lightweight gray sweater that was placed over a black blouse. To complete the image were some jeans. I particularly don't fancy jeans, but they're widely popular. Especially now that I'm back in the early 2010s. It wasn't the second decade of the twenty-first century any longer.
"Momo!", Lala happily said, face full of smiles. Her tail was starting to go out of control, but I let her be. She was truly happy seeing Momo out and about, enough to walk around. The two were quick to hug each other. They hadn't had a moment to share since we arrived in the afterlife, and even then, it was only for a single moment. Since then, they hadn't had a chance to meet up like this. Momo had already teased me, but I just let them enjoy this moment together. It was a deserving one. I'm sure another one will happen once Nana wakes up too.
As Lala and Momo enjoyed a moment, Natasha approached my side.
"Your wife. I take it. She's quite breathtaking. Lucky guy.", Natasha said to me.
"She is. At least I think she is.", I answered.
"You think? There is no thinking. She either is, or isn't.", Natasha retorted.
"Haha, my memories are still hazy from everything that has happened.", I said, letting out a laugh.
"Right. You were out for a week. That must've taken a toll on your mental state too. Trust me, I'm in the same boat. I'm still trying to cope with the fact that aliens exist.", Natasha said, drawing out a long sigh.
