Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: No Way Home

Both Momo and the Black Widow are presently standing near me, fully bare. Almost at least. Their important bits were tucked away behind a sole apron. But it was tied in a way that no matter where they turned, it didn't reveal anything. It was as if their appearance was censored. Truly an ecchi moment if you ask me. I couldn't see what I wanted to see, even if I tried. Sadly, reality struck me as the Black Widow spoke out. Her gaze was sharp and cold.

"If you take one look behind, you're dead, bub.", Natasha coldly said.

"I don't have a death wish today, thank you very much. I'm surprised you actually went along with Momo's shenanigans. I'm enjoying some delicious eye candy here.", I replied.

Seriously, though. Almost a full week had passed since I went under. Just how much did I miss? Aura did say that Momo had already woken up and met up with our caretaker, which I assume is the Black Widow. Not the worst situation to be in, in my opinion. Sure, I might already be under Shield's radar, but that is leagues better. I wasn't taken to some random laboratory in the middle of who-knows-where, only to eventually get brainwashed into becoming a Hydra agent. There are a lot of stories that end up doing this, and those become boring. Just a yawn fest of a revenge plot.

But here. No. That didn't happen. There is no such revenge story to be had here. Just me, as Baki Hanma, here to enjoy a third life with Lala, Momo and Nana. I decided to intervene in the first Avengers movie plot, by saving Iron Man. That saving grace led me to be taken to his very own home, Stark Tower. At least one of his residences. I know Tony has other homes, like the one in Malibu. And in response to that, as the Avengers went their separate ways, I'm guessing Nick Fury issued a mission to the red-haired woman before me, to watch over us for the time being.

So yeah, not the worst possible outcome. I'm already in a good light with the Avengers to boot.

I also took a moment to observe Momo. This is To Love Ru we're talking about here. Momo wouldn't make an appearance until later in the series, eventually enrolling at school there. But this version of Momo wasn't her anime counterpart. She appeared a couple years older than how she looked in the anime. I know it even had a damn sequel too. What was it called again? To Love Ru Darkness, I think? It had a timeskip and everything. The first series heavily focused on Lala, while eventually shifting the story's POV to Momo. But Momo standing before me seems even older than that. It was as if Momo completed high school altogether.

Despite that, all three of us are holding a conversation, spoken in Japanese. There were no language barriers or anything, despite Momo being a complete alien, unlike me. Looks to me the three sisters retained some knowledge of our previous world. At least having the ability to converse in Japanese. It's just that, what exactly did these two talk about that led to this entire situation?

Not that I'm complaining of course. Like I said, I'm very much enjoying this eye candy. But at the same time, I'm not courting death. I may be in Baki's body, but it's all raw. No refinement whatsoever. It needs to be retrained, and my flow in using martial arts will return down the line, I hope. Plus, it's not just some random agent of Shield standing before me. It is THE Black Widow. One, if not the deadliest Shield agent there ever was. She can easily adapt to any situation, no matter what is sent her way. Including alien battles, just like how she performed in the Avengers movie. All she had to do was lunge at me, place me in a chokehold, and that's lights out.

I wasn't waiting for that to happen. I stayed respectful during this moment. In response Momo looked at me, full of smiles.

"You arrived just on time, Baki-sama. That was your stomach growling, wasn't it? Onee-sama has already filled me in for the most part. In particular, when you would be waking up. She should be joining you shortly. We're in the middle of preparing a large meal. Are you okay to move around like this?", Momo began to say, obviously worried for me. I smiled at her.

"True. You were connected to an iv drip supplement only until recently. Your body was given the bare minimum nutrients to survive, but you probably shouldn't move around too much. Your body is likely still weak.", Natasha said, chiming into the situation.

"Thank you for worrying, but I've never felt better. And it is true to what Momo-chan said. Lala-chan should be waking up soon. I'm not sure about Nana-chan, though. She seemed way more out of it.", I said, wondering how Nana was fairing. I knew of Lala's condition, thanks to Aura's existence. Lala's likely reviewing all the info her system is currently giving her. Aura is mine, while Sephie is hers. Both systems perform the same functions. That means she'll have a status window of her own, as well as having the ability to dive into those simulations. At least, that's my assumption.

Hearing that, Momo smiled again, pumping her arm upward, showing that she was full of vigor. I knew she was rather out of it during that whole sequence of events, but it sounds like Momo has returned to her usual demeanor. Healthy as one can be. And in response to that, I saw her breasts jiggle up and down. They seemed...bigger than I remember? They were big enough that with enough friction to the apron, they posed a risk of coming out to say hello. Not like I couldn't see Momo's curves already.

Either way, I gave Momo a deadpan look seeing her do this.

"Can you like, not do that, Momo-chan? We're already intruding on this place enough as it stands. At the very least, though, I'd like to give you my thanks for looking after her. And for coping with this whole ordeal. It's something you're used to handling, isn't it?", I said, thanking the Black Widow for what she has done for us already.

"Not exactly. Giving my honest opinion, everything in this last damn week has gone over my head, and is way above my pay grade. But what can you do? Whine? Sit down and do nothing? Afraid it isn't that easy. Something had to be done. Shield would have likely taken custody of you if you didn't do what you did.", The Black Widow responded, sighing.

"You mean saving that guy in the shiny red suit, right?", I said, nodding my head in response.

As to who the person was standing in front of me, her code name is Black Widow. Real name, Natasha Romanoff. An ex-assassin of the Red Room, her own story took place until she met a guy named Clint, who was tasked by Shield to take her down. Her life was taken for a spin when Clint decided to spare her life, instead of killing her. Since then, she's been working as a Shield operative, creating alias after alias wherever she goes. She's top of the line, best of the best in her job field.

In layman terms, a spy.

And the latest alias Natasha used while parading around as Tony's personal secretary prior to Pepper Potts coming into the scene was Natalie Rushmann. Knowing that the Avengers movie had concluded, I don't believe she is using this alias anymore. The one standing before me is her true self, Natasha Romanoff. I saw her nod her head to my words.

"You being here instead of somewhere else is exactly because you rescued that guy. He's called Tony Stark. I'm just a temporary resident here, just like you. And it is as you've guessed, watching over you is my current assignment. Well. I'd consider it an assignment, but my job has me on leave right now. I've been enjoying this time off, thanks to you.", Natasha said, introducing herself to me.

"And by the way, is this not to your liking?", Natasha suddenly questioned. I saw her eyes wander around her own body, gently twisting around, which only made her curves pop even more. I even saw her bare ass almost come out into the open, but she only moved enough to where I couldn't see the full thing.

"Momo-chan...", I uttered, sighing while I placed my hand over my face. All Momo did was smile back with a giggle.

"Teehee, don't be like this, Baki-sama. I'd figure this would be the best way to break this to you. Considering you know...", Momo answered. Hearing that, I paused, ending my current distraction. It was clear what Momo was referring to.

"Right...", I responded, nodding my head again.

I knew it well.

The fact we wouldn't return home, that is. There was no home to return to. We would have to rebuild our lives here, in the MCU.
