Alyssa continued to cry into Ronans chest, staining his shirt with her tears. He placed his hand on her head rubbing her scalp,his eyes filled with concern and confusion. She wanted to tell him everything but she didn't know where to start. Everything was just all over the place.
His voice was gentle, but edged with urgency. "Alyssa… I need you to stop crying and tell me what happened. I can't understand you if you keep crying"
Her throat felt raw and she hiccupped violently. She pulled away from him, staring at her trembling hands blankly feeling like a rock was placed over her chest. She tried to talk but the words were stuck to the back of her throat, sticky and shameful but she managed to say it.
"Do I look sick?" She asked, surprising Ronan. "Because I feel sick. I went to the silver moon pack… Isla's pack and…and I told him about her. I'm sorry"
