Alyssa's leg felt heavy as she dragged herself further away from the borders of the silver moon pack. She tried to keep her expression composed. When she was on her way to meet Alpha Marcus,she hadn't been this tired but now it felt like the journey was even longer than before. She breathed a sigh of relief as she got closer. She just needed to rest her head.
As she walked in the pack,the warriors at the border bowed their heads but she only ignored them. She raised her chin proudly so that no one would notice anything wrong with her. She walked past a few Omega in the garden who were busy gathering herbs in the garden close to the pack house.
She glanced at the training ground, checking to see if she'd see Zade there. Relief flooded her when she saw no signs of Zade or Ronan. She needed to be alone now. She feared that she'd tell them what she had done and she didn't want to see that look of disappointment in their eyes.
