"Your wish is my command, Master," said the person formerly known as Miss Ivy, now known as the Blossom Queen, as she knelt before Hazel.
Hazel's eyes lit up with joy and happiness at seeing her alive again. "Miss Ivy!" he exclaimed, rushing to hug her. However, he received no response or reaction from her, which made Hazel sad and confused.
He stepped back to examine her face, searching for answers, but her expression was as emotionless as a robot's.
"Miss Ivy, what happened?" Hazel asked, his voice tinged with sadness.
"I am perfectly fine, Master. Please, call me Blossom," she replied, her tone devoid of emotion.
"Do you remember anything from when you were alive?" Hazel asked, curiosity getting the better of him.
"No, I'm sorry. My memories seem to be sealed, my lord. If I cannot serve the purpose for which you revived me, then let me do the honor of sending myself back to join the dead," Blossom said, pulling out her sword.
Hazel stopped her immediately. "Do you not wish for me to prevent you from killing yourself?" he asked.
"No, my lord," Blossom replied, her voice still devoid of emotion.
Hazel thought to himself, "I need to find out what's going on, and to do that, I need her memories unsealed as fast as possible."
Just then, another loud explosion shook the hospital.
Hazel realized he needed to understand the system to survive. "If I want to survive, first, I need to understand what's going on. Let's start with the system," he thought.
He tried to access the system, saying, "System window."
A window appeared, displaying his stats:

Hazel's eyes widened in surprise. "Wow, it really works!"
He decided to learn more about his skill and weapon. "System, show me more under the skill Dead Summon."
The system replied, "[Dead Summon] [Dead Summon is a skill used to summon dead warriors or monsters and use them to fight battles. The number of summons will increase based on the level of the skill.]"
Hazel wondered, "If it can only summon warriors and monsters, then that means Blossom is a warrior, but how?"
He decided to check his weapon next. "System, show me more about the weapon."
The system displayed, "[Weapon: Scythe] [This is a weapon that comes naturally with the job class Grim Reaper. It can be used however you like, either to slash or boomerang slash, and so on. The weapon can also evolve based on its level.]"
Hazel wondered how to summon his weapon. "Let me try something. Scythe, I summon thee!"
To his surprise, the scythe appeared before him, emerging from the ground with a pure black color and a red edge.
Hazel swung the scythe, feeling a strange connection to it. "Wow, this is really cool."
With his newfound confidence, Hazel declared, "It's time to head out."
As they exited the hospital, Hazel and Blossom encountered a short, knife-wielding monster.
"According to what I've read on web novels, I'm guessing this is a goblin," Hazel thought.
The goblin spotted them, let out a laugh-like sound, and charged towards them.
Blossom asked, "My lord, will you like me to kill it?"
Hazel replied, "No, leave it to me."
With a swift swing of his scythe, Hazel sliced the goblin in half.
[System Notification]
[You have killed a goblin and gained 2 EXP points.]
Hazel thought, "It really doesn't give much EXP. Well, it is a low-leveled monster, so I guess it's expected."
As they descended the stairs, they encountered five goblins and a goblin commander.
Hazel instructed Blossom, "Take the goblins; I'll handle the big guy."
Blossom obeyed, using her skill, Blossom Spiral Slash, to decapitate the five goblins.
Hazel faced the goblin commander, dodging its attacks with ease.
With a swift strike, Hazel cut off the commander's hands.
The goblin commander attempted to flee, but Hazel threw his scythe, beheading the commander.

Hazel thought, "The EXP from the goblin commander is still too low to make me level up."
[System Notification]

Hazel realized, "Hmmm, I guess if your subordinate kills, you'll get half the EXP. That's not good for Blossom; it will slow her leveling up. Then I guess I'll make her do the killing from now on; that will be the best."
As they exited the hospital, Hazel and Blossom were met with a desolate landscape. Most of the world had been destroyed by monsters.
