Midoriya had anticipated this and turned his body into steel wires just before impact. But Togata Mirio had seen it coming—he converted One For All's strength into a powerful shockwave, sending it blasting out from his fist. Against Midoriya's scattered steel wire form, this kind of attack could deal real damage.
It looked just like their last encounter, but this time, Togata Mirio wasn't alone. All Might had a firm grip on a part of Midoriya's steel body from behind, making sure he wouldn't escape the same way again.
Midoriya Izuku crashed to the ground as his steel wire form was forced back into shape. He had only recently discovered this weakness—if he took a full-range attack while in steel wire form, he would be forced back to normal.
His right hand still hadn't fully returned to normal because part of the wires was still tightly held by All Might. The two strongest heroes weren't trying to beat him to a pulp—they were aiming to capture him alive. So instead of overwhelming violence, they opted for a more controlled arrest.
And it was working.
Midoriya was slammed to the ground, and Togata Mirio rushed in to pin him down. This time, there wouldn't be a single chance for him to escape.
"Midoriya, you're under arrest!"
"Oh, really?"
Pinned to the ground, Midoriya Izuku responded calmly. Meanwhile, Dabi, who was still nearby, didn't react much either—his eyes remained locked onto Endeavor.
"Mirio-senpai, since you were cautious enough to avoid the first wave of the strongest infection, the virus that's now floating in the air won't affect you too much. But…"
"Right now, I am the biggest source of infection."
