Air's performance had been incredible...
But honestly, it all felt surreal to Wataru.
She had moved faster than the eye could follow. A blur of steel, a flash of ice, a spider-man's arms flying off with SPRAANG!, and his scream echoing in the air.
It had all happened in an instant, like something out of a video game or movie. It was so unreal that Wataru had trouble believing it was actually happening.
But then came the smell of blood.
The groans of the spider-man—now with all six arms severed and unable to even hold his wounds—were very much real, not performance. That's when Wataru could finally accept it was all real.
He understood what needed to be done: provide treatment, and get answers.
"Hey—what's wrong?"
"Master, don't let your guard down."
"Please don't approach carelessly. People like this are dangerous unless they're completely neutralized."
"First, we need to remove all the alchemical gear he's wearing, nyaaa~."
"R-Right, got it. Sorry."
