Chapter 49 - Inter-Dimensional Insect

Days?... Weeks?... The little creature had no idea how long he had been trapped by the Captain. Although she bathed regularly, the sonic showers did not see him as debris worthy of removing. He was stuck, and she had no idea of his plight in the least as she went about her duties as a Starfleet Officer. Time had passed slowly for the little one as he tried to survive... However, living for this long had answered some interesting questions about himself: He did not require sustenance. It seemed physical contact with Tesla was enough to keep him alive. And as such, he also did not have other bodily functions he was accustom to when he was alive. In essence, he could stay there indefinitely if she did not find him and be physically healthy... Forsake the intense heat and sweat.

Tesla sat in her quarters with a smile on her face, her legs crossed as she looked over the reports from her Chief Engineer's latest upgrades to the Celeste's warp core. She bobbed her foot up and down gently, unaware of the little 'ride' she was giving her personal passenger as a young borg officer stood before her.

"Impressive..." Tesla said, taking a sip of her coffee.

"H... How do you like the ship so far?" Fourteen said, her bright purple hair pulled back into two small ponytails revealing an implant beneath her ear.

"You shouldn't worry so much, Fourteen." Tesla said with a smile, handing her back the PADD with the reports on it. "You did a wonderful job working with the Corps of Engineers on this ship. The Celeste is a marvel, and all of these upgrades you're doing for it only make it even that much better."

"T... Thanks Captain." Fourteen said with a small smile.

"You spent a lot of time alone after you left the Collective... I know it's hard to... Adapt to an active crew, but i'm getting nothing but good reports about you from all of the crew members."

Fourteen nodded... Her expression hadn't changed through the entire conversation - Her eyes wide, almost looking as though she were about to snap. Her motions were always quick and staggered, and she had a strange smile on her face that - if you didn't know her - you'd swear she was insane. It made it hard for her after she left the Collective to gain people's trust since she was always so... Intense, but she was fitting into Tesla's crew quite well.

"Viran to Volkov..." A voice chimed through the communications badge.

"Go ahead." Volkov replied.

"We're about to drop out of warp, we need you on the bridge. The Aj'rmr is near Gasko Station, as we suspected." Viran, Tesla's Chief Tactical Officer, said.

"I'm on my way..." Tesla said as she stood, giving Fourteen a smile and a gentle nod.

Heat and sweat sapped every ounce of energy from his tiny body as Tesla lead her ship into battle. Mat could hear the sound of blasts hitting the ship's shields and feel their impact as Tesla braced herself in her chair, her toes clenching around him every so often threatening to pop him like a tiny insect. He could hear her thick, Russian accent through the walls of her combat boots well, and while he couldn't make out her orders he could tell her voice was definitely commanding.

Shortly after the battle she was running... Her footfalls deafening as she fought aboard the station. Mat could hear the sound of assault rifles and explosions of plasma grenades. It sounded like a little warzone. Muffled voices of the stations residents telling the Captain of their plight - civilians locked away and being experimented on by the Tal'Shiar... Borg Technology. Small bits and pieces he could hear, but of course, none of it was directed to him... He coughed and gagged as sweat slid unwillingly down his tiny throat. His torture seemed endless - having been thrown into another realm of pleasure himself. He had been in a constant state of crippling ecstasy since the first day of his job as 'Captain's Toe Lint'. He could hardly contain himself... Hours passed on her mission before she was back in her quarters...

It took him a few minutes to realize where he was. Cool wind passed over his crippled little body... He was no longer against skin, left in the Captain's wake as she attempted to relax after the mission. Slowly he sat up, his body resisting all movement as every beat of his heart sent waves of pleasure through him. He opened his sweat-covered eyes to see the Captain standing across the room, staring out into space for a moment. Her shoes were off, sitting next to the entryway to her quarters...

Slowly the little one stood, wandering over toward her. His footfalls were staggered as he tried to keep from falling... Then she turned toward him - her eyes immediately glancing down to the little 'Speck' that was moving on the floor. He watched her feet as she walked, each step drawing closer and closer as he wondered how he would end... Would she save him? After all, she's a Starfleet officer - sworn to protect life... First contact perhaps? She stopped a few feet before him and crouched down, her leather fingertips plucking him from the ground gently as she looked to him with curiosity. Mathew blushed, his bare body quaking in her fingertip's grip as her green eyes gazed upon his tiny form.

"Hmph... I hope the ship isn't infested with something..." She scoffed as her fingers came together. Mat squeaked as he felt the leather push on his legs, crushing them instantly as her index finger slid up his body coated in his blood. Like a steamroller he was crushed, leaving a smudge of red gore between each of her digits. As the pleasureful pain gripped him, all he could hear were his own bones squelching and snapping, along with the surreal scrunch of leather on leather.

"Blood?" Tesla said curiously when she finished properly 'pulping' the little insect. Her fingers parted, leaving a stringy mess between the two for a second as she looked upon Mathew's crushed body. "I should send a sample to Sick Bay..."

Captain's Log: Stardate 94681.19

The people we rescued from the Tal Shiar were more than willing to meet with Starfleet Command. Hopefully they can provide insight into the Romulan's plans... On another note... I've sent the remains of an insect I found in my quarters to my Chief Medical Officer, Ires, for examination. Normally I wouldn't have gone to such lengths, but it was filled with what appeared to be blood. If it poses a threat to the crew, I want to know about it.
