It was at this point that the two of them began leaving the area that was considered the Southern Guardian Reva's throne room area. Does not matter how run down the place was at the moment as it was where his throne and Reva himself were located. Thus to Cami, Page, and all the villagers that now consider themselves as being under his direct protection as a result of him just being there. Doing the bare minimum that Guardian does even when offline by just existing alone. This run down area was considered revered and admired merely for the sake of him being there alone.
Thus when both Cami and Page left the area they were approached by the village chief who walked up to them.
"I see that the process to roboticizing Page has been completed then," he said as he looked over at the new Page just standing there.
"That it has as the work on Page has been completed thus I can focus our full efforts on Crater now" Cami informed him.
"I can wait until I can hang with Crater again as he is doing fine just like I was right," Page asked.
"Crater is fine, as his mother still looks after him, just like she did you when you were both still in the state he is currently in," the village chief told her.
Page was once again glad for his mother as while she was not her daughter too. She still looked up to Crater's mom as a motherly figure who raised her too but more so as her guardian than foster parent.
"Mind me asking why you are out here then" Cami inquired.
"Page now serve our Lord directly, correct," he asked.
"Yup as I am now serving directly under Cami in serving our Lord," the dark green robot said as she had both her hands in front of her
"Yes I am now the superior of Page as she answers to me and I answer only to our Lord," Cami said with sleeved hand placed on her chest.
Neither were aware of this but Reva only has and ever really would have only one subordinate which is Cami herself. A result of how the both of them were roboticized was that the only one that Reva had at the time was Cami herself thus the only subordinate he had registered as being under him at the time of fully taking the mantle of the Southern Guardian was her. The reasoning behind heroes making parties was not just to ruse to remove those that could have become actual heroes or their bloodlines possibly even birth to them. They were to be removed from the human gene pool through roboticization so that they would strengthen the robot's side as well. The secondary reasoning was those that who were roboticized by the hero before they became the Guardian they defeated and/or lost too. Those remaining party members would become the direct subordinates of the next cycle's Guardians. What of those party members who fell in battle and did not live to the end? Well, they were just consider free agents that prep for roboticization the moment of their deaths actually. Their bodies were collected after no one was around to see it happening as none of them ever buried or returned to their homes. As even things that fully destroy their bodies do not allow them to return to the human reincarnation cycle as in the moment before it can happen they are flash roboticized on the spot. An emergency fail safe for unexpected happening like this is what happens.
Thus this was reasoning why Page was under Cami as while the number of subordinates that Guardian has is capped at the number they roboticize themselves from their remaining living party members. That is before becoming the next cycle's Guardian. The number of subordinates that someone like Cami could have however was unlimited as she could have an endless amount of roboticized people and creatures that answer to her.
Reva was aware of this thus why he only wanted one party member if he could help it thus making it so that he only had to keep one subordinate in check. All the others under them would be that subordinates(Cami's) problem to deal with on her own. However, Cami was not as she did not know the truth about the Heroes, the Mecha Lord, the Guardians, nor even the role of the hero's party until it was already too late. Now she just does not care mostly thanks to how Page was when she first came online since her initial roboticization.
"So then the village has come to the decision after we all discussed it and have decided that we too want to better serve our Lord like Page is doing now," the village chief said standing before the two of them.
This was the other reason that they had gone through the process of removing anyone who did not agree with them on serving the Southern Guardian Reva. While accepting that what happened to Page and Crater was not Cami's fault at all. That all stemmed from the intruders instead not listening to her and leaving when they had the chance. They were all in talks about getting roboticized themselves in order to more properly serve under the Guardian of this region. The influence over them that Reva gave off just in a passive manner but always at full blast was a result of this line of thinking for everyone left in the village. It gave Reva control over the robots in his sphere of influence but also would make humans constantly exposed to it want to be roboticized themselves.
Just Reva's control over them was not as direct and intrusive as it could have been since it was being done constantly when at the fullest effect because he was doing it passively. Thus he was showing no control over how they reacted to this effect since he was offline. Thus humans under this effect would merely have the desire to be roboticized themselves enhanced to the point where they would welcome it with open arms once it was made available to them. Though some were able to resist the effects of this passive ability all Guardians had and some could just ignore it completely if they wanted to. Thus the reason why some villagers were recently chased out was they were not being affected and thus were now considered outsiders a result of full effect started to show itself once they came in contact with someone that served directly under the Southern Guardian(if it was Reva himself that they saw then the story might be different).
