"Hey! Defteros!"
Seeing Defteros recklessly dive into the Blood Pool, the others quickly gathered around the edge.
"He should be fine... I saw people from other universes jump into the Blood Pool too," Shion said, brows tightly furrowed.
"Maybe... I just hope Defteros is okay," Sisyphus nodded, though his expression remained uneasy.
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!
Suddenly, a series of massive explosions erupted beneath the Blood Pool, red waves splashing violently into the air.
The three Gold Saints immediately stepped back.
"What the hell? Could it be that Defteros is still using Galaxian Explosion inside the Blood Pool?" Dégel guessed.
"I hope he's not in danger!" Sisyphus muttered, eyes locked anxiously on the Blood Pool.
Plop!
A short while later, Defteros emerged from the depths of the Blood Pool, and the explosions abruptly ceased.
"Looks like the monsters are gone. I swam a little deeper and unleashed another Galaxian Explosion. After that, they didn't dare come any closer," Defteros said calmly, as if it were no big deal.
"As expected of you, Defteros. You're incredibly reliable," Sisyphus praised sincerely.
Defteros simply turned his head away, saying nothing.
"Then our next task is simple—wipe out the remaining monsters!" Shion declared, glancing at the scattered remnants.
"Simple enough. Let's wrap this up quickly," Dégel added, his entire body radiating a chilling cold.
The four Gold Saints immediately dispersed to hunt down and eliminate the stragglers near the Blood Pools.
Across all the worlds, the battles against the Blood Pools seemed to be progressing smoothly. Every warrior gave their all, taking down monster after monster.
Eventually, nearly all the remaining monsters were eliminated. A few escaped during the chaos, their whereabouts unknown, and would need to be tracked down later.
The last two universes to fully conclude their battles were the Naruto and One Piece worlds.
After all, they lacked terrifying beings like the Ultras or Son Goku, and didn't have DoraMei's gadgets either. They had to rely on their own strength to persevere.
Jiraiya had no idea how many meteors he had summoned…
But finally, no more monsters emerged—likely terrified by the endless onslaught from above.
Meanwhile, in the One Piece universe, Garp was nearing exhaustion. He could barely keep swinging his fists, though monsters were appearing less frequently now.
"Garp! It's time to retreat!"
Sengoku rushed over to extract Garp.
By now, Aokiji had completed a cage of Absolute Zero ice, ready to seal the island and prevent anything from escaping.
"Garp-san! Sengoku-san! Hurry!"
Aokiji called out from the only remaining opening.
Sengoku accelerated, carrying Garp out of the enclosure just in time.
Aokiji then sealed the final gap.
The Absolute Zero Ice Prison was now complete. No monsters inside the island would be able to escape.
Even if there were powerful ones among them, Absolute Zero meant anything that touched the ice would instantly freeze — including themselves.
At least for the time being, no one had to worry about monsters breaking through the barrier.
["Congratulations to all worlds. You have successfully resisted the Blood Pool. However, it is uncertain when the Blood Pools will activate again. Please remain vigilant."]
A synthesized voice echoed in everyone's ears.
Most people let out a long sigh of relief.
In order to defeat the Blood Pool monsters, everyone had drained nearly all of their energy and stamina.
The only ones in better condition were Son Goku, Leo, Seven, and the Gold Saints.
Dan: "Everyone still alive?"
Luffy: "Yeah, I'm alive."
Garp: "You didn't even fight. What are you responding for?!"
Luffy: "Hehe... I just feel better seeing you're still full of energy, Gramps!"
Garp: "You brat! If you were in front of me right now, I'd give you the Fist of Love!"
Naruto: "Phew... finally better. That poison earlier was horrible. Ero-Sennin, you okay?"
Jiraiya: "Other than being exhausted, I'm fine. But we can't let our guard down yet. Some of those monsters are still unaccounted for."
Tsunade: "We'll find them soon. They stand out too much to hide."
Bruce Wayne: "We didn't let any escape here. If they did, who knows how many people would've died."
The Ancient One: "He's right. Thankfully, I warped the surrounding space in time to stop them from leaving. Earth was spared, thanks in part to Asgard."
Loki: "Hehe. So, human sorcerer, you've finally realized how mighty Asgard is?"
Odin: "Loki, be quiet."
Suneo: "I'm so glad those monsters are gone... I was really scared!"
Gian: "You brat, saying you're scared, but you were fighting like a beast back there."
Sisyphus: "In any case, I'm just glad everyone is okay."
Dan: "By the way, is Defteros around?"
Defteros: "What is it?"
Dan: "I was curious about that technique you used to bombard the Blood Pool—'Galaxian Explosion'? Is there any deeper meaning to that name?"
Defteros: "Not really. As the name implies, it holds the power to destroy a galaxy."
Defteros' words stunned nearly everyone present.
Tony Stark: "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Are you serious?! Destroy a galaxy?! Come on, that can't be real!"
Diana: "Even if I went all-out with the Sword of Oath, I couldn't do something like that!"
Daigo: "You're joking, right? If you really could destroy a galaxy, wouldn't that mean your whole universe would be gone by now?"
Defteros: "I don't joke. Believe it or not, up to you."
Sisyphus: "Ahem, allow me to explain. Defteros' Galaxian Explosion is arguably the most devastating technique among the Gold Saints. By burning his Seventh Sense Cosmos to its utmost limit—like a star undergoing nuclear fusion and erupting—he releases all his power in an explosion that could theoretically destroy the galaxy and wipe out the stars within it."
Bruce Wayne: "Wait... you make it sound so casual, but that's terrifying! Is this something only your Cosmos allows?"
Doctor Strange: "With power that massive, are you able to scale it down? Ensure the attack won't obliterate everything in range?"
Sisyphus: "Of course. Defteros can freely control the destructive scope of Galaxian Explosion. He ensures its power is preserved while restricting its blast radius."
Gen: "Unbelievable... you guys are too strong."
Dan: "Honestly, I thought having the power to destroy planets was already absurd. But this? If you can casually destroy galaxies... doesn't that mean you could destroy the whole universe? Even the Land of Light might not stand a chance against you guys!"
As Dan spoke, cold sweat ran down his back.
He had never seen such terrifying humans before. Who would've thought people from another universe could be so powerful — far beyond even the might of the Land of Light?
If it ever came down to a confrontation, perhaps only the legendary King of Ultra could stand a chance against them!
