Garp clenched his fists as he glared at the endless stream of monsters pouring from the Blood Pool. Every time he saw one, he immediately punched it into oblivion.
He gave them no chance to escape.
Right now, he had no intention of stopping. He would keep fighting — either until he was completely exhausted or until no more monsters came out of the Blood Pool. Until one of those two things happened, he wouldn't stop.
Some monsters noticed how powerful Garp was and attempted to attack him.
But just then, a beam of blue-gold energy swept across them, annihilating them all in an instant.
The one who unleashed the beam was none other than Sengoku, now transformed into a golden Godzilla-like form.
"Don't even think about interfering with Garp!" Sengoku shouted as he fired his enhanced Atomic Breath at the surrounding monsters.
His Atomic Breath now contained the shockwave force of the Great Buddha, infused with Haki and Rodan's flames, making it far more devastating than ever before.
"Garp, I'm sorry... we can't help you much. This fight is yours alone," Sengoku murmured, his eyes full of frustration and regret.
"Garp... you'd better make it out alive!"
After muttering this silently, Sengoku resumed his barrage against the monsters, turning his gaze toward the sea.
Out at sea, Aokiji was freezing the ocean's surface, constructing towering ice walls.
This was Sengoku's order.
If they truly couldn't stop the Blood Pool from producing more monsters, then their last resort would be to mimic what happened on Skull Island — encase the entire island in a giant ice prison, sealing the monsters inside!
Though Aokiji wasn't sure if that would truly work.
After all, the number of monsters inside was beyond imagination, and many were terrifyingly powerful.
Even if they could be sealed off temporarily, who could guarantee they'd stay sealed forever?
But Aokiji didn't have time to dwell on that — all he could do now was focus on building the ice barrier.
Skull Island, aboard the Thousand Sunny
Luffy and the others watched the screen with tense expressions.
"Gramps..."
For the first time, Luffy felt real worry for Garp.
In his mind, his grandfather was always strong, someone who didn't need protection.
But this time... he couldn't help but worry.
"Luffy..."
The others noticed the change in Luffy's expression. They wanted to say something, but didn't know what to say.
Before the results were clear, anything spoken would just be empty words.
Whitebeard Pirates
Since returning, Whitebeard had been silently watching the screen.
"Garp... don't die out there," he muttered gravely.
Though they stood on opposite sides, they had fought for decades, walking through the same era — there was something between them beyond enmity.
He didn't want Garp to just die like that.
"If Garp had my Dog Talisman, he'd probably have more stamina," Whitebeard sighed.
But he quickly shook his head — there was no way he'd lend the Dog Talisman to Garp.
And knowing Garp's personality, he wouldn't accept anything from a pirate anyway.
...
In the Saint Seiya Universe
Pegasus and the other Bronze and Silver Saints were fighting desperately against the surrounding monsters.
By logic, with their small numbers, they shouldn't be able to stand against such overwhelming hordes.
But Saints were no ordinary fighters — and with the Gold Saints aiding them, the tide changed.
The Gold Saints' Light-Speed Punches — delivering billions of strikes in a single second — vaporized vast numbers of monsters in an instant.
Even those monsters over a kilometer in size were slain in a single breath.
"We should bring this battle to an end soon," Dégel said as he froze a horde of monsters with ease.
"To threaten the Blood Pool with planet-destroying power... all four of us could do it, but the best choice would be..." Sisyphus trailed off, looking toward Defteros.
"Hm? Me?" Defteros frowned.
"Yes, with your power, you're more than capable. I'm counting on you, Defteros," Sisyphus said sincerely.
"…Fine."
Defteros accepted and began walking toward the Blood Pool.
As he moved, his entire body radiated intense heat.
Any monster that came close to him would inexplicably burst into flames.
Every step he took turned the ground into molten lava.
When he reached the edge of the Blood Pool, he raised his arms and crossed them. A torrent of Cosmos erupted from his body like a volcanic explosion.
"This... this Cosmos!"
Pegasus and the others felt the overwhelming force radiating from Defteros and stopped fighting, turning their attention toward him.
It was the first time they had ever sensed a Cosmos this powerful.
To describe it: Bronze and Silver Saints' Cosmos were like lakes.
But the Cosmos radiating from Defteros was a vast ocean.
"Galaxian Explosion!"
In that moment, countless stars appeared around Defteros, and his surging Cosmos compressed into a blinding wave of light. Like a raging sea, it crashed toward the Blood Pool, the stars around him shattering one by one with each release.
BZZZZZZZTTTTT!!
The moment Galaxian Explosion struck the Blood Pool, the entire pit trembled violently.
The frequency of the shaking was terrifying — even more intense than when Tiga, Goku, or the Leo Brothers had struck the Blood Pool before!
Seemingly overwhelmed by the sheer force of the attack, many monsters fled in fear, abandoning the battle and scattering away from Defteros.
Yet Defteros paid no attention to his surroundings. He continued to burn his Cosmos, pushing it to the absolute limit, amplifying the Galaxian Explosion even further.
The lightwave grew even larger, blanketing the entire surface of the Blood Pool!
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!
Even the shockwaves alone caused the surrounding land to shake, crack, and explode — as if a massive earthquake was tearing the earth apart.
And the affected area kept expanding!
If the aftershocks were already this terrifying, no one dared to imagine what the full force of the technique could truly do.
"What terrifying Cosmos! This is Defteros' power?!" shouted Shion, stunned by what he was witnessing — it was his first time seeing Defteros fight.
"He's gotten even stronger... it's terrifying. Having someone like him as our ally is a blessing," Dégel said, his usually calm demeanor shaken by the monstrous Cosmos.
"Yeah... I fear Defteros' power is no less than Aspros'. Maybe even greater," Sisyphus added, cold sweat on his forehead. Even he wouldn't dare face Galaxian Explosion head-on.
Huff... huff...
As Defteros' Cosmos began to recede, he exhaled heavily.
He stood silently before the Blood Pool.
The Blood Pool slowly calmed, its tremors fading... and no more monsters emerged from within.
…
After a moment of silence, Defteros leapt into the Blood Pool to investigate directly.
